Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong

Distance/Time: Approx. 100 KM / 2-3 Hours
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Meet your company representative and drive to Shillong.
En-route, visit the picturesque Umiam Lake, created by damming the Umiam River.
On arrival in Shillong, check-in to your hotel.
Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Shillong, visiting the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake, Shillong Golf Course, and Mary Help of Christians Cathedral.
Overnight Stay: Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong - Jowai - Krangsuri Waterfall - Shnongpdeng (Dawki)

Distance/Time: Approx. 130 KM / 4-5 Hours
After breakfast, drive towards Krangsuri Waterfall, with a stop at Jowai in the Jaintia Hills District.
Visit Thadlaskein Lake, Lalong Park, and Tyrshi Falls.
Continue to Krangsuri Waterfall, a spectacular spot known for its breathtaking views.
Proceed to Shnongpdeng (Dawki), check-in to the guest house, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight Stay: Shnongpdeng.

Day 3 Shnongpdeng – Bangladesh Border-Dawki River-Mawlynnong - Cherrapunjee

Distance/Time: Approx. 125 KM / 7-8 Hours
After breakfast, enjoy water sports like kayaking, snorkeling, zip-lining, and cliff jumping.
In the afternoon, drive towards Cherrapunjee, stopping at Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia.
Visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge and climb the bamboo watchtower for a 360-degree view.
Continue to Cherrapunjee, check-in to your hotel, and relax for the evening.
Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee.

Day 4 Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

Start your day with breakfast followed by a sightseeing tour of Cherrapunjee.
Visit Mawsmai Cave & Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Waterfall (India’s tallest plunge waterfall), Seven Sister Waterfall, Khoh Ramhah, and the Jinhkeing Nongriat Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
If time permits, visit Weisawdong Waterfall and Dainthlen Waterfall.
Return to the hotel for a leisurely evening.
Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee.

Day 5 Cherrapunjee - Laitlum Canyon - Shillong

Distance/Time: Approx. 65 KM / 2 Hours
After breakfast, drive to Laitlum Grand Canyon, perched in the East Khasi Hills of Shillong.
Enjoy the breathtaking gorges and lush valleys.
Continue your journey back to Shillong, check-in to the hotel, and enjoy your evening at leisure.
Overnight Stay: Shillong.

Day 6 Shillong to Guwahati and Local Sightseeing

Distance/Time: Approx. 100 KM / 2-3 Hours
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati.
Visit the Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the 51 Shaktipithas, located on Nilanchal Hill.
Explore the Umananda Temple and enjoy an evening river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (on direct payment).
Overnight Stay: Guwahati.

Day 7 Departure from Guwahati

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.

We are satisfied with the services provided, accomodation given and places for f (Read More)ood were too good . Overall it was a wonderful experience. Can recommend it for others .

Last day plan in itinerary was a bit disappointing in terms of time and other f (Read More)actors. Complimentary Breakfast for 2 days was not utilised properly due to time constraint despite a single item given early as takeaway.

The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and s (Read More)upport of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.

The accommodation in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hot (Read More)els with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.
