Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kochi
- On arrival in Kochi, receive assistance from our representative.
- Transfer to the hotel and check in.
- After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing in Kochi.
- Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum.
- Spend the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Kochi.
Day 2 Kochi to Thekkady
- After breakfast, proceed to the wildlife reserve at Periyar.
- On arrival in Periyar, check-in at the hotel.
- After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing in Periyar. Visit Periyar Lake, Tiger Park, Mangla Devi temple, and the waterfalls at Chellarkovil.
- Optional: Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to see a large variety of wildlife

Day 3 Thekkady Sightseeing
- After breakfast, trek to Gavi- Magical land.
- You can opt for a jeep safari or elephant rides in the afternoon.

Day 4 Thekkady to Kumarakom
- After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom.
- On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the houseboat.
- You will cruise down the backwaters and travel through the rivers and a labyrinth of man-made canals.
- Overnight stay at houseboat in Kumarakom.
Day 5 Kumarakom Sightseeing
- After breakfast, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to view the incredible birdlife of Vembanad Lake.
- Later enjoy Ayurvedic spa facilities at your lakefront resort or explore the nearby villages (on your own).
- Evening at leisure
- Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 6 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to the Kochi airport to board your return flight back home.

Thekkady: elephant jungle. Poetrree Saravor hotel. Elephant ride
Kumarakom: Backwater ripple hotel.
Alleppey: spice route luxury houseboat. Loved the crab roast chef John prepared. Cruising the backwaters was very tranquil. Walked alongside the rice paddies.
Kovalum: boat cruise in backwaters.
Trivandrum: Gokulam grand hotel. Lovely end to our vacation with complimentary dinner from Bharatawaytravels.
Accommodation: good selection of hotels. Friendly staff at all hotels and restaurants.
