Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi
  • You will meet your driver and guide upon arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and enjoy a warm welcome with romantic room decorations, including flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.
  • After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Hanoi.
  • If you wish to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, you will have to start the tour early at around 08:30 AM.
  • Enjoy a romantic lunch at a local restaurant, featuring traditional Vietnamese dishes
  • Visit One Pillar Pagoda.
  • Also, visit the West Lake, Quan Thanh Temple, and  Tran Quoc Pagoda.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature.
  • Afterward, visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi, the 36 streets.
  • Walk to Hang Gai Street, where you can find the best Vietnamese silk.
  • In the evening, attend the Vietnamese traditional water puppet show.
  • After the show, return to the hotel.

  • After breakfast, at 08:00 AM, proceed to Halong Bay.
  • On arrival board a boat.
  • After checking in, have a Vietnamese lunch while heading towards a fishing village.

  • Later, return to the boat.
  • You can kayak around the fishing village or swim in the Bay (depending on the weather).

  • Your guide will explain the many sights you will pass along the way as we travel to the different street vendors spread throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Visit a night market and enjoy a classic Vietnamese BBQ dinner
  • Your personal tour guide will also assist you with any purchases you wish to make.
  • The tour ends with one of the most famous Vietnamese food traditions; “The Street Barbeque.”
  • After the tour, return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Ben Tre.
  • On arrival, enjoy a boat cruise along the river, a Mekong branch.
  • Take a short walk through various local workplaces.
  • You can also visit the brick kiln, the fruit orchards, a coconut candy workshop, and other local cottage industries.
  • The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can take a short walk to get an insight into the village life.
  • You can also visit a mat-weaving house, where straw mats are woven by hand – you can even try weaving yourself.
  • At noon, you will take a Xe Loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) to a riverside local restaurant for lunch.
  • Enjoy a romantic lunch at a riverside restaurant.
  • Later, cycle through the orchards to Mr. Khanh’s house.
  • Afterward, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
  • Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
  • After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
