Day 1 Arrival at Darjeeling
  •  Pick it up from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport and transfer to Darjeeling.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome drink along with honeymoon room decoration.
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  • Early morning (at 4.00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
  • On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery, and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
  • Evening at leisure, shopping, or taking a romantic walk.
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Gangtok.
  • On arrival at Gangtok, visit Gangtok Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten (Stupa), Flower Show, Ranka Monastery, View Point and Botanical Garden.

  • On the way you may visit the famous Hot Springs.
    Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April, May and June, the valley erupts in a riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers. In the winter months, Yumthang is somber with snow all around.
  • Return to Lachung for lunch.
  • After lunch, visit Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and Waterfalls.
  • Dinner will be served at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, leave for Gangtok.
  • On the way, stop at Singhik, Mangan, and (if the weather is clear) enjoy a view of the Kanchenjunga Range.

Excellent Travel Experience with Krishna Travels DMC We visited North Sikkim (Read More)and Darjeeling for 6 nights and 7 days from Hyderabad, and the entire trip was well planned by Anuradha from Krishna Travels DMC. Everything was smooth and hassle free. The itinerary, hotel arrangements, drivers, food, and overall coordination were handled perfectly. The planning was well balanced, making our journey comfortable and enjoyable. Hotels we stayed at were Aurora Gangtok in Gangtok, which was a good stay overall with only minor internet connectivity issues. In Lachung, we stayed at Rufina Lachung Kunga, which was good and comfortable. In Darjeeling, we stayed at Aurora Grand Darjeeling, which was a pleasant stay. Special thanks to Anuradha for her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail throughout the trip.
