Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, a representative  will be waiting for you at the airport holding a placard with your name. You will then be transferred to the designated hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner, where you can experience authentic Nepalese cuisine and get an introduction to the country’s vibrant food culture.
After breakfast, attend a pre-trip meeting where you will be introduced to your guide and have the opportunity to resolve any queries regarding the trip. The day’s sightseeing includes a visit to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world. You’ll then visit Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most famous Hindu temple, where you can observe sadhus meditating, pilgrims bathing, and even funeral rites along the Bagmati River. Later, head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which features pagoda and shikhara-style temples, the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, the Golden Gate, Lion Gate, art galleries, and the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla.

We leave Kathmandu early in the morning for Syabrubesi, a small village which lies on the foot of hills. Syabrubesi is also the starting point of our trek into the Langtang valley. We stay the night in Syabrubesi and get prepared for the trek tomorrow.

Leave Kathmandu early in the morning for Syabrubesi, a small village at the foot of the hills and the starting point of the Langtang Valley trek. The drive offers scenic views through hilly landscapes. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.
Continue your ascent and pass numerous waterfalls and green meadows at Ghoda Tabela. As you trek further up the valley, pass temporary settlements and a Buddhist monastery before reaching Mundu. Overnight in Mundu.
Trek to the iconic Kyanjin Gompa, a well-known monastery in the region. Along the trail, observe watermills, prayer wheels, and mani walls. You'll also come across Nepal’s largest mani wall. Spend the day exploring the monastery and surrounding landscapes. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Today is reserved for acclimatization. Hike to Tserko Ri (5033m) for stunning views of the Himalayas, glaciers, and yaks grazing in the alpine meadows. Return to Kyanjin Gompa for an overnight stay.
Retrace your steps back down to Lama Hotel, passing through beautiful Tamang villages. Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Begin the day by trekking to Rimche, then descend along the Langtang Khola. After crossing another bridge and passing Pahare Hotel and a waterfall, arrive in Thulo Syabru for an overnight stay.
Today’s trek is shorter to aid acclimatization. Walk past a chorten and a checkpoint, continuing through Garta Village and Phulung Monastery before reaching Shin Gompa. Overnight stay in Shin Gompa.
Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang. Cross ridges to reach the third and most sacred of the Gosaikunda Lakes (4380m), surrounded by mountains and nine additional lakes. Overnight in Gosaikunda.
Ascend towards Laurebina Pass (4610m) and enter the Helambu region. Pass Surya Kunda and three small lakes en route to Ghopte. Overnight stay in Ghopte.
Walk through dense forests and reach Thare Pati village. Cross two suspension bridges before arriving at Melamchigaon, where you can visit a local monastery. Overnight in Melamchigaon.
Ascend to Ama Yangri (3800m), the highest point of the trek. Admire the stunning views of Mt. Shishapangma and the Langtang ranges. Descend through forests to the Sherpa village of Tarkejhyang. Overnight stay.
A relatively short and easy trek through forests, chortens, monasteries, and scenic Sherpa villages. Enjoy magnificent views of Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, and Langtang ranges. Overnight stay in Shermanthang.
Begin your trek early and walk through farms, meadows, and small villages to Melamchi Bazar. From here, drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.
Today marks the end of your journey. A representative will escort you to the international airport for your flight.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.
