Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin - Munnar
Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station. Our representative will welcome you to "God's Own Country", Kerala. Proceed to Munnar, often called "The Southern Kashmir of Kerala," located 1800 meters above sea level. En route, visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, and spice plantations. Check-in to the hotel/resort upon arrival. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast, go sightseeing—Mattupetty Dam/ Kundala Dam for boating. On the way, visit Echo Point and shooting point. Visit the Tea Museum. Visit Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Park, Adventure Park, Hydel Park, Off-Road jeep drives, and Rose Garden. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady via scenic hill highways. Thekkady is home to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the 48 Tiger Reserves in India. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a 1½-hour game-viewing cruise on Periyar Lake.
Wildlife viewing may include elephants, monkeys, deer, and wild boar. Optional activities include an elephant Safari, martial arts, and Kathakali Shows. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

The morning after breakfast, check out from Thekkady, visit Valanjanganam waterfalls, and proceed to Alleppey, “Venice of the East.” On arrival, check in to the houseboat and enjoy the spectacular ride through the lake and canals of Alleppey backwaters. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

After breakfast, check out of the houseboat and visit the Alleppey Beach lighthouse. Mullakkal Street, and proceed towards Cochin for sightseeing at Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Marine Drive, Chinese Fishing Net, and Jewish Temples. Drop off at Cochin.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
