Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong

On arrival at Guwahati, transfer to Shillong.
En-route visit Umium lake.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Visit local shopping and café (on their own if needed).
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 Transfer to Cherrapunjee - Visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak

Day trip to Cherrapunjee
En-route visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls
Leave for Cherrapunjee-the wettest place on earth.
Explore the Mawsmai Caves, the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Ram Krishna Mission.
Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 3 Transfer to Shillong - Day Trip to Mawlynnong

Day trip to Asia’s cleanest village Mawlynnong.
Visit Living Root Bridge, Dawki River, Tamabil Indo-Bangladesh border, and Krang Suri waterfalls.
Depart for Shillong.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4 Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

Drive to Kaziranga National Park, the abode of one-horned rhinoceros.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
In the evening visit the local market for handicrafts.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5 Transfer to Guwahati - Elephant Safari

In the morning start the Elephant Safari.
After breakfast go for Jeep Safari.
Check out from the hotel.
Leave for Guwahati.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
In the evening relax.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 6 Explore Guwahati - Brahmaputra River Cruise

In the morning after breakfast visit Kamakhaya Temple, one of the oldest of 51 Shakti.
In the evening visit the local market.
Go for a Brahmaputra river cruise with dinner and Bihu dance performance on board.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 7 Depart from Guwahati

After breakfast checkout from the hotel.
Head to Guwahati airport for onward journey.

We are satisfied with the services provided, accomodation given and places for f (Read More)ood were too good . Overall it was a wonderful experience. Can recommend it for others .

Last day plan in itinerary was a bit disappointing in terms of time and other f (Read More)actors. Complimentary Breakfast for 2 days was not utilised properly due to time constraint despite a single item given early as takeaway.

The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and s (Read More)upport of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.

The accommodation in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hot (Read More)els with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.
