Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, take a leisurely evening stroll to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site brimming with history. Explore the stunning Hanuman Dhoka Palace, which once housed the Malla kings, and visit the Living Goddess Kumari’s house, where you can observe the revered Kumari, a living deity in Hindu tradition. The square, with its ancient temples and palaces, offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Kathmandu’s historical landmarks:

  • Pashupatinath Temple: One of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. It attracts thousands of pilgrims and offers fascinating views of cremation rituals along the riverbanks.
  • Bouddhanath Stupa: This colossal stupa, one of the largest in the world, is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Surrounded by monasteries, the site exudes a peaceful atmosphere, and you’ll see locals and pilgrims performing prayer rituals.

Wake up early for a sunrise view over the Himalayas from Nagarkot, one of the best spots to witness the first light of day casting its glow over the snow-capped peaks. After breakfast, head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a medieval city known for its well-preserved architecture and vibrant culture. Visit the 55-Window PalaceVatsala Temple, and other iconic structures. After exploring Bhaktapur, drive back to Kathmandu and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, either drive or fly to Chitwan, located in the southern plains of Nepal, famous for its lush jungles and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, attend a briefing about the upcoming jungle safari activities and the wildlife that you can expect to encounter. Afterward, relax and prepare for an exciting evening in the heart of nature.

  • Canoeing: Experience the tranquil beauty of the Rapti River with a canoe ride. Glide along the river while spotting crocodiles, birds, and other wildlife.

On your final day, take the opportunity to shop for souvenirs at Kathmandu’s bustling markets. You can purchase traditional handicrafts, jewelry, pashmina shawls, or religious artifacts. Afterward, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.
