Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Jammu and Transfer to Katra
  • Arrive in Jammu.
  • Meet and get assistance on arrival at the railway station or airport and proceed straight to Katra by car.
  • Arrive in Katra and check in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Katra.
  • After breakfast, proceed for visit to “Mata Vaishnodevi” darshan.
  • Depart to Bhawan by foot or ponies (to be arranged directly) or by chopper.
  • After darshan, leave by chopper/ponies for Katra.
  • Check-in at the hotel for rest.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Depart from Katra to Pahalgam, also called “Valley of Shepherds.
  • En-route visit the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century and Mattan Temple Complex.
  • On arrival in Pahalgam check in at the hotel.
  • In Pahalgam, enjoy nature and walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.
  • Day free to explore the surroundings and sightseeing on your own.

  • After breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, also referred to as “Meadow of Flowers” Gulmarg is 150 Kms from Pahalgam at an altitude of 8700-ft.
  • Arrival in Gulmarg.
  • Visit ski resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course.
  • Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a cable car ride (Gondola) - (Optional)
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
  • Depart from Gulmarg to Srinagar.
  • In the afternoon, visit Mughal Gardens "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All).
  • Drive along the Lakeside on Boulevard.
  • On the return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments.
  • Visit Shankaracharya Temple.
  • In the evening, enjoy a 01-hour boat ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ”Shikara”.
  • Visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from paper mache and wood of a walnut.
  • Overnight at the Deluxe houseboat.
  • After breakfast leave for a full-day excursion at Sonamarg, also called 'The Meadow of Gold'. Sonamarg is situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft.
  • Visit the Sindh River that meanders through the valley that abounds with trout and mahseer.
  • Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.
  • Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Depart to Srinagar airport/Jammu to connect with the flight/train for onward destination.
