Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar - Houseboat Stay and Shikara Ride
- Welcome to your ‘Kashmir Summer Special with Airfare ‘Tour.
- On arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative.
- Later, proceed towards your Houseboat.
- Welcome Tea on check-in.
- When we think of Kashmir, the first thing that comes to mind is "Houseboats". Staying on a Houseboat means living in paradise, an experience one is not likely to find anywhere else on the surface of the earth.
- Enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the Dal lake in the evening, followed by a complimentary traditional photography session.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar. Dinner included.
Day 2 Transfer to Pahalgam - Apple Gardens and Saffron Fields
- After breakfast in the hotel then, transfer to Pahalgam.
- En route, visit Apple gardens and Saffron Fields.
- Pahalgam called as 'Valley of Shepherds’. On arrival, check-in at Hotel.
- En route, make a brief visit to Awantipura Ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
- On arrival in Pahalgam, check-in at your hotel.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Day 3 Pahalgam Sightseeing - Chandanwari and Betaab Valley
- After breakfast in the hotel.
- Start sightseeing in Pahalgam by local union cab.
- Visit Chandanwari at 2,895 m and 16 km (10 miles) from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath yatra. The road from Pahalgam to Chandanwari is curvy, sometimes a relatively flat terrain, with quite a few steep curves. It can be undertaken by car (not buses and trucks for the most part) with some skilled driving. From Chandanwari onwards the track becomes much steeper, accessible on foot or by pony only.
- 11 km from Chandanwari is the mountain lake of Sheshnag, after which 13 km away is the last stop, Panchtarni. A narrow spiralling path from Panchtarni leads to the Amarnath Cave.
- Visit Betaab valley. Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km up on Pahalgam, got its name from Sunny Deol’s movie, Betaab, which was shot extensively in this area. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks, dense pine, and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. There is a beautiful garden in the valley, with a bridge to cross the river.
- Later in the evening, visit the Pahalgam bazaar.
- Overnight stay at hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Day 4 Transfer to Srinagar - Explore Mughal Gardens
- After breakfast, drive to Srinagar.
- Arrive at Srinagar, check in at the hotel, and go sightseeing in Mughal Gardens.
- Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) was built by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noorjehan, in 1632 AD.
- Jehangir built Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) in 1633 AD for his wife, Noor Jehan.
- Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are overlooked by the picturesque Zabarwan Mountains.
- Later transfer to hotel for Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Day 5 Excursion to Sonamarg - Glacier and Meadows
- Today after breakfast, proceed towards Sonamarg, also known as Meadow Of Gold.
- You can Visit the Thajwas Glacier and Fish Point (on your own).
- There are there many places you can visit (on your own way)
- You can opt for a pony ride (on your own) to one of the glaciers for some fun in the snow and ice.
- In the Evening, return Back to Srinagar.
- Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 6 Day Trip to Gulmarg - Gondola Ride and Scenic Views
- After breakfast, check out and drive to Gulmarg for a full-day excursion to the Meadow of Flowers, which is situated at an altitude of 2730 m above sea level.
- The distance between Srinagar to Gulmarg is approximately 52 km, and it takes 2 hours to drive to reach Gulmarg.
- Gulmarg is one of India's premier hill resorts. . Gulmarg is a place of exceptional beauty, has the world's highest green golf course, and turns into India's premier ski resort in winter. Gulmarg offers breathtaking views of the majestic Nanga Parbat on a clear day.
- Gondola ride up to the 1st phase in Gulmarg.
- Evening return to Srinagar, check inn at the hotel for an overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Day 7 Departure from Srinagar
- Today, bid farewell to your ‘Kashmir Summer Special with Airfare’ tour as you are transferred to the airport in Srinagar for your onward journey. (Meals: Breakfast)

The people in travgen, no matter it was Ms Samreen who planned our itenaries from Day 1 to Day 5 or our cab driver Tawseef bhai who took our to different places, all were quite helpful. Travgen is srinagar based so that's one of prominent benefit, so if they know each and every places in detail, when to go and what to avoid n all. Also there were no last minute surprises till Day 5 unlike other platforms. So if you are concerned and planning for a kashmir trip the Travgen is the best option.
