Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar - Gardens and Dal Lake Boat Ride
- On arrival at Srinagar airport, pickup by our representative and transfer to the pre-booked hotel/houseboat.
- After resting for a bit, visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashmeshahi, Shankracharya Temple and Pari Mahal.
- In the evening, enoy 1 hour boat ride on Dal Lake.
- Meals and overnight stay at hotel/ houseboat.
Day 2 Day Trip to Gulmarg - Cable Car and Scenic Views
- After breakfast in the morning, begin the country tour towards Gulmarg.
The distance of 56 km will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat from here if weather permits. - Enroute, enjoy the view from Tangmarg to Gulmarg.
- You can also stop for a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs.
- Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car known as Gondola or a ponyy ride(on direct payment basis).
- In the evening, drive back to Srinagar.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Pahalgam Exploration - Valleys and Saffron Gardens
- After breakfast, move towards Pahalgam.
- On the way to Pahalgam, visit the world's largest saffron gardens (located at pamporatown).
- Visit Awantipora Temple and Anantnag Sulpher Springs.
- Also visit Chandan Wari, Aru Vally, Baisaran Vally and Betab Valley
- Post sightseeing, move towards Pahalgam.
- Arrive at Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel.
- Relax and spend some time at Lidder River.
- Enjoy a picnic or a pony ride.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4 Depart from Srinagar
- After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for onward journey.

I was quite concerned about my kids 1 year and 4 year old but travgen made it ea (Read More)sy for us. The people in travgen, no matter it was Ms Samreen who planned our itenaries from Day 1 to Day 5 or our cab driver Tawseef bhai who took our to different places, all were quite helpful. Travgen is srinagar based so that's one of prominent benefit, so if they know each and every places in detail, when to go and what to avoid n all. Also there were no last minute surprises till Day 5 unlike other platforms. So if you are concerned and planning for a kashmir trip the Travgen is the best option.
