Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Jaipur
- Pick up from Jaipur railway station/airport.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- In the afternoon, a tour of Jaipur.
- Visit Sisodiya Rani Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple.
- In the evening, an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani resort (dinner chargeable extra- on your own).
- Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 2 Jaipur Sightseeing
- In the morning, visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride (at an extra cost & subject to availability) until the fort's main entrance.
- Later, a photo stop at Jal Mahal.
- Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory, Sheesh Mahal, and the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors.
- The evening is free for shopping on your own.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 3 Jaipur to Jodhpur
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur.
- On arrival in Jodhpur, check in to the hotel.
- Later proceed for a local city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur.
- Visit the Mehrangarh Fort
- Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal.
- Later, visit Jaswant Thada and Umaid Public gardens.
- Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 4 Jodhpur to Udaipur
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Depart for Udaipur.
- On arrival in Udaipur, check in to the hotel.
- Spend the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 5 Udaipur Sightseeing
- After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Udaipur.
- Visit the City Palace, Zenana Mahal, and Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas.
- Also visit Jagdish temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen’s resort for the friends).
- In the evening, a motor launch cruise (cruise not included) on the placid waters of Lake Pichola.
- Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 6 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Jaipur.
- You will be dropped at Jaipur airport/railway station for your onward journey.

Overall it was definitely a satisfying experience having a tour planned with Sun (Read More) Voyages. They suggested me an itinerary which I customised according to my choices and schedules and they gave me a perfect schedule that was well in my budget. The driver was quite flexible with schedule and allowed changes to original plan as the travel proceeded. The hotels included in the itinerary were all 3 stars and were quite good!
The food in Jaisalmer camp was little disappointing, to which they justified say (Read More)ing it was an off season and couldn’t make the arrangements well.
