Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Haridwar – Rudraprayag – Karnaprayag – Joshimath (280 Kms / 8 hrs)

Morning Arrival in Haridwar: Upon your morning arrival in Haridwar, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Joshimath after enjoying breakfast. The journey will take you through picturesque landscapes, including the confluence points at Devprayag and Rudraprayag.

Overnight Stay in Joshimath: In the evening, you will arrive in Joshimath, a town located on the slopes above the confluence of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers. Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath and was established by the revered Adi Shankaracharya. You will spend the night here, soaking in the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Visit significant sites such as Brahmakapal (for Pinddan Shraddh), Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Mukh of the Saraswati River, all within 3 km of Badrinath.

Morning Departure from Badrinath: After breakfast, you will begin your drive back to Haridwar. Along the way, you'll make stops to visit the scenic and spiritual sites of Rudraprayag and Devprayag, where the rivers meet and form the Ganges.
