Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Kaziranga
- You will be received at Guwahati Railway Station/airport on arrival at Guwahati.
- Transfer to Kaziranga.
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- In the evening visit Orchid Park.
- Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 2 Transfer to Shillong - Visit Jungle Safari and Umiam Lake
- In the early morning go for the pre-booked elephant safari into the jungle.
- Enjoy the thrill of jungle safari.
- After breakfast, visit the locality like tea garden, temples, etc
- OR go for a jeep safari through the park (optional: payment on your own).
- Later proceed to Shillong, which is also called 'Scotland of the East".
- On the way visit Umiam Lake at Barapani
- On arrival at Shillong, check in to the hotel.

Day 3 Explore Shillong's City Attractions

- On the way visit the Cleanest Village Mawlynnong, Living root bridge, Balancing rock.
- In the evening reach Cherrapunji.

Day 5 Explore Cherrapunji - Visit Waterfalls and Cave
- After breakfast, go sightseeing at Cherrapunji, famed for being the wettest place in the world.
- Cherrapunji possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves.
- Visit the Nohkalikai Falls, the world’s fourth-tallest waterfall, Mawsmai Falls, Thangkharang Park, and Mawsmai Cave, one of the 100 old limestone caves in Meghalaya.
- Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 6 Water Sports at Barapani Lake - Transfer to Guwahati
- After breakfast drive to Guwahati.
- En-route enjoy water sports at Barapani lake.
- After lunch, continue the drive to Guwahati.

Day 7 Depart from Guwahati

Our Meghala (Read More)ya trip was not just about misty mountains, roaring waterfalls, and endless green valleys—it was about the feeling of being cared for at every turn. And for that, we owe a lot to Babul Das, who was more than just our driver or guide—he became a silent guardian of our journey.
Through unpredictable rains, winding roads, and long travel days, he was always calm, patient, and reassuring. He didn’t just take us to places—he made sure we felt them. The waterfalls weren’t just views, they became moments. The clouds weren’t just scenery, they became memories.

The trip was well planned by Sizra, she understood our requirements and curated (Read More)finest itinerary. She stays were thoughtfully picked. The weather complimented all the planned activities throughout the journey.
Few places were closed (like Shillong peak, Guwahati Museum, etc) and that could (Read More) have been informed prior to our journey start, since we understood the closure after reaching the points.
