Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Ahmedabad
- Pick-up on arrival at Ahmedabad railway station or airport.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in (standard check-in 12:00 noon)
- Ahmedabad sightseeing
- Visit Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj Vav, and Akshardham Temple
- Overnight stay in Ahmedabad. (NOTE: Ahmedabad closed on Monday)
Day 2 Ahmedabad to Dwarka
- After breakfast, proceed to Dwarka (450 Kms – 08/09 hours)
- On arrival check in to the hotel
- If time permits, visit Dwarkadhish Temple in the evening
- Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 3 Dwarka to Somnath
- After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Dwarka
- Visit Dwarkadhish Temple, Rukmani Mandir, Beyt Dwarka(Mul Dwarka), Nageshwer Temple (Jyotiling), Gopi Talav.
- Proceed to Somnath (260 Kms - 6 hours)
- Overnight stay in Somnath.
Day 4 Somnath to Sasan Gir
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Visit Somnath Mandir, Bhalka Tirth, Gita Mandir, Triveni Sangam.
- Proceed to Sasan Gir (60 Kma - 90 minutes)
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Sasan Gir.
Day 5 Sasan Gir to Vadodara
- In the early morning go for a Jeep safari in Main Jungle (at extra cost).
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Proceed to Vadodara (410 Kms – 8 hours)
- Visit the Lothal Archeology site (if interested)
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Vadodara.
Day 6 Departure
- After breakfast, proceed to the Statue of Unity at 7:30 AM (Note: Statue of Unity closed on Monday)
- Visit the Statue of Unity from the Viewing Gallery, Valley of Flowers, and Narmada dam Viewing point.
- Proceed to Vadodara or Ahmedabad for your onward journey back home.
