Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
- Upon arrival at airport, a representative will assist with transportation.
- Proceed to Anuradhapura and visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way.
- Arrive in Anuradhapura and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Trincomalee
- After breakfast at the hotel, go sightseeing at Anuradhapura.
- Later, go to Trincomalee .
- Sightseeing at Trincomalee and then spend the day at leisure on the beach.
- Overnight stay at Trincomalee.
Day 3 Polonnaruwa and Habarana
- After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Habarana via Polonnaruwa.
- Visit the Parakrama Statue, Royal Palaces, Audience Halls, Vata-da-ge, Thuparama, Rankoth Vehera, Kiri-Vehera, Gal-Vihara, Lankathilaka and Tivanka Image House.
- Overnight stay at Habarana.
Day 4 Sigiriya and Dambulla caves
- After breakfast at the hotel, climb Sigiriya rock fortress.
- Later, start journey to Kandy and visit Dambulla Cave Temple on the way.
- Arrive at Kandy and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 5 Exploring Kandy
- After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Kandy.
- Places of visit include the Royal Botanical Gardens, Spice garden, Orchid House and the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
- In the evening, enjoy a Kandy cultural dance performance.
- Overnight stay at Kandy .
Day 6 Departure
- After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Airport for your scheduled flight.
- If time permits, enjoy a short city tour of Colombo to see the Cinnamon Gardens, Sea Street and Dutch Church of Wolfendhal.

We had the best time of our life because of the hospitality ensured by Shine Lan (Read More)ka and specially because of our guide Mr. Afraaz.
He played a multi purpose role as guide/driver/photographer and was available 24×7. Whenever we want, what we want and how we want, it was made available by him and it was a fun experience.
One thing is clear that more than money these people are people-centric and to ensure guests stay happy is their priority.
Couldn't have been any better.
A hotel room for 1 night in the itenary was very bad and the staff was least bot (Read More)hered. But the people at Shine Lanka ensured that we were satisfied by providing some extra experiences to make even with the dissatisfaction at the hotel.

Communication, Planning of tour from the scratch, Transport and the Guide.
Accommodation in Nuwara Eliya. Room size was small in the Hotel. Can not be cons (Read More)idered as 4*. All though the Hotel Staffs were friendly. Its location also mattered. Anyway, we had to choose it among the available limited options.
