Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Delhi
- On arrival at Delhi Airport, you will meet our representative.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 2 Delhi to Mandawa
- After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Delhi.
- Visit Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Lotus Temple, Raj Gath, and India Gate.
- Drive past Parliament House and President House.
- Later, drive to Mandawa.
- On arrival at Mandawa, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Mandawa
Day 3 Mandawa to Jaipur
- After breakfast, visit the village and a number of Havelis in Mandawa.
- Later, drive to Jaipur.
- On arrival at Jaipur, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 4 Jaipur Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Jaipur.
- Visit Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by an Elephant ride to the fort.
- Also visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum, and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- In the evening, you can go for a traditional Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani with cultural activities (optional).
- Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5 Jaipur to Agra
- After breakfast, drive to Agra.
- En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri.
- Visit the Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan, and Panch Mahal.
- On arrival at Agra, check in to the hotel.
- In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort.
- Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 6 Agra to Khajuraho
- In the early morning, visit the Taj Mahal by sunrise.
- Later return to the hotel for breakfast.
- After breakfast, transfer to Agra Railway Station to board the train to Khajuraho.
- Overnight journey on the train.
Day 7 Khajuraho to Varanasi
- On arrival at Khajuraho, transfer to the hotel and freshen up.
- After breakfast, visit eastern and western Khajuraho Temples.
- In the evening, transfer to Satan Railway Station to board the train to Varanasi.
- Overnight journey on the train.
Day 8 Arrival at Varanasi
- On arrival at Varanasi, you will meet our representative.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Later visit Sarnath.
- Return to the hotel.
- In the evening, attend the prayer ceremony at the Ghats.

Day 9 Departure
- In the early morning, enjoy the boat ride on the river Ganges.
- Return to the hotel.
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi for your onward journey back home.

Overall it was definitely a satisfying experience having a tour planned with Sun (Read More) Voyages. They suggested me an itinerary which I customised according to my choices and schedules and they gave me a perfect schedule that was well in my budget. The driver was quite flexible with schedule and allowed changes to original plan as the travel proceeded. The hotels included in the itinerary were all 3 stars and were quite good!
The food in Jaisalmer camp was little disappointing, to which they justified say (Read More)ing it was an off season and couldn’t make the arrangements well.
