Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (Ixb)/Railway Station (Njp) & Transfer to Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or Railway Station (NJP), our representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok.
Check-in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Tsomgo Lake: Located 38 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 ft, Tsomgo Lake is an ethereal beauty that changes with the seasons. In winter, the lake is frozen and surrounded by snow, while in spring, the area is adorned with blooming flowers. The lake derives its water from the melting snow of the surrounding mountains.
Baba Mandir: At an altitude of 13,123 ft and 52 km from Gangtok, Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, or Baba Mandir, is a revered site with a touching story. Harbhajan Singh, a sentry of the Punjab Regiment, is said to have appeared in his colleague's dreams after his tragic death in 1968, asking for a memorial to be built in his honor.
Nathula Pass (Optional): One of the highest motorable roads in the world, Nathula Pass connects India with China at an altitude of 14,450 ft. Known for its picturesque beauty and strategic importance, it remains closed to tourists on Mondays. Permits require 72 hours to process and proper documentation, including two passport-sized photographs and an identity card (Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License; Aadhaar and PAN are not accepted).
Note: If Tsomgo Lake is inaccessible due to landslides or other reasons, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.

Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, check out from your hotel, and transfer to Lachung.
En route, visit:
  • Singhik View Point
  • Seven Sister Waterfall
  • Naga Waterfall
Arrive in Lachung by evening, check-in to your hotel, and enjoy an overnight stay

Lachung: Located 118 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 8,858 ft, Lachung is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, streams, and orchards. The market offers beautifully woven rugs and blankets, making it perfect for shopping.
Yumthang Valley: At 11,800 ft and 25 km from Lachung, this valley bursts with rhododendrons of various colors during spring, creating a breathtakingly beautiful sight.
Mt. Katao: Located 28 km from Lachung, Mt. Katao offers spectacular views and adventure activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing in winter.
Zero Point (Yume Samdong): At an altitude of 15,300 ft, Zero Point offers magnificent views of snow-covered mountains and grazing yaks amidst freezing temperatures.
After exploring these destinations, return to Lachung for lunch and transfer to Gangtok. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour in Gangtok, visiting:
  • Hanuman Tok
  • Jhakri Falls

Post sightseeing, drive to Darjeeling (96.5 km, approximately 3.5 hours). En route, stop at Lovers View Point for a spectacular view of the confluence of the Teesta and Rangit Rivers. Check-in to your hotel in Darjeeling for an overnight stay.
Early Morning: Visit Tiger Hill at 4:00 am to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft, the world’s 3rd highest peak).
