Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City
- On arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2 Excursion to Mekong Delta River
- After breakfast, proceed to My Tho.
- Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields.
- On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda.
- Take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank.
- Proceed to the Tortoise islet and have lunch in the orchard garden.
- Take a boat ride to An Khanh in Ben Tre.
- Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees.
- Afterward, enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.
- Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy, and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.
- Later, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
- After breakfast, proceed to Cu Chi.
- Visit Cu Chi Tunnels.
- Before entering the tunnels you can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
- You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.
- Afterwards, enjoy tea and cassava (gorrillas food during the war).
- Return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- On arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Hanoi.
- On arrival in Hanoi, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 4 Excursion to Hoa Lu & Tam Coc
- After breakfast, proceed to Hoa Lu.
- Visit the ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties
- Afterward, proceed to Tam Coc and have lunch.
- After lunch, take a boat trip to visit Tam Coc and see the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone.
- Afterward, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers, and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong.
- Return to Hanoi.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 5 Hanoi to Halong Bay
- After breakfast, proceed to Halong Bay.
- On arrival in Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf, transfer to Halong Cruise by tender.
- Have welcome drinks on the boat and check in to your private cabin.
- Have lunch on board while cruising through Halong Bay.
- Later, visit Ti Top island where you can swim, sunbathe, or trek.
- Later, proceed to Pearl Farm Village.
- Visit around or swim and kayak in the bay.
- Afterward, return back to the cruise.
- Join a cooking class to have experience in some traditional dishes.
- Have tea on the sundeck.
- Overnight stay on board in Halong Bay.
Day 6 Halong Bay to Hanoi to Siem Reap
- In the early morning, practice Tai Chi on the sundeck.
- During breakfast, cruise to explore other parts of Halong Bay.
- Later, visit and explore the Surprise cave.
- Afterward, check out and take all luggage outside of your cabin, cruise back to the Tourist Wharf through Halong Bay.

Day 7 Angkor Complex Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the Angkor area.
- Explore the ancient ruins of the South Gate of Angkor Thom.
- Visit Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the temple of Angkor Wat.
- Stroll around and see the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 8 Excursion to Pouk District & Tonle Sap Lake
- After breakfast, proceed to the Pouk district.
- Visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation, and looming.
- Later, visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental).
- In the afternoon, visit the floating village of Chong Khneas.
- Take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake.
- Later visit the Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d’Angkor.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 9 Departure
- After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure.
- Later check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
