Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati to Cherrapunjee (146 km, 4 hr 16 min)
Meet and greet by our representative at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, and proceed towards Cherrapunjee. En route, visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls.
Cherrapunjee is known for its impressive waterfalls and deep gorges, offering stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.
Attractions include:
  • Nohsngithiang Falls (Mawsmai Falls)
  • Dainthlen Falls
  • Nohkailikai Falls (World’s fourth highest)
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After some rest, visit:
  • Mawsmai Cave (6 km from Cherrapunjee market, towards the Bangladesh border)
  • Eco Park
  • Thangkharang Park

Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Enjoy a half-day trip to the Double Decker Root Bridge (a 3-hour trek involving 3,000 steps up and down).

What's Good: More than profits IndeRoots strives to make customer requirements fullfill, along with it they make sure to resolve issues if any thing happens or if there is change in itenary fr (Read More)om customer they make it possible, even if it's last moment
What's Not Good: Need to be aware of local issues that occurs in hilly areas(two or three places in itenary were closed due to local problems). Along with it, one guy (tele caller representative) whom we spoke to is good with resolving issues but he should speak politely with customers when there is problem.

What's Good: We recently traveled to Assam and Meghalaya with the help of Safar Panda, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The driver Britu Das was extremely friendly and made our journey smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Ujjal and Mr. Amit, who coordinated everything so well. They were always available and supportive, and even when we requested last-minute changes to our itinerary, they accommodated us without any hassle. They went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience and ensured we covered most of the key attractions. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and executed as planned. The hotels arranged by Safar Panda were top-notch — clean, comfortable, and located in great areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the food provided, especially the breakfast, which was always delicious and well-prepared to ensure we started our days right. Overall, the entire experience was more than worth the amount we paid. We felt well taken care of, and I can confidently say that any customer booking with Safar Panda is sure to have a memorable and enjoyable trip.
