Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport and drive towards Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya (approximately 3.5 hours).
- En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, a perfect spot for photography and relaxation.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2 Shillong Sightseeing & Sacred Grove
- Begin your day exploring the mystical Mawphlang Sacred Grove, a sanctuary of ancient trees considered sacred by the local Khasi people.
- Visit iconic landmarks in Shillong, such as the Don Bosco Museum, Ward's Lake, and the Shillong Golf Course.
- Enjoy a blend of tradition and modernity in the "Heartbeat of Meghalaya."
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 3 Tea Garden Experience
- Embark on a guided tour of Meghalaya’s lush tea plantations, learning about tea cultivation and production.

Day 4 Laitlum Canyons & Waterfall Hikes

Day 5 Dawki & Mawlynnong

- Continue to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and explore the Single Decker Living Root Bridge, a marvel of natural architecture.
- Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee
Day 6 Cherrapunjee – The Land of Mist & Waterfalls
- Journey to Cherrapunjee, known for its heavy rainfall and dramatic landscapes.
- Visit the stunning Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India.
- Explore the ancient Mawsmai Caves, which were formed over thousands of years by limestone deposits.
- Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee / Guwahati
Day 7 Departure to Guwahati
- After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati Airport (approximately 5 hours) for your departure.

- Transportation: Private vehicle (Swift Dzire/Ertiga/Innova/Traveller) for 7 days as per the itinerary, including fuel, driver, and toll fees.
