Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati to Bhalukpong (241 km, 5 hrs)
Meet and greet by our representative and proceed toward Bhalukpong. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. If time permits, you can go for a short trek at the National Park.
Overnight stay: Hotel in Bhalukpong.
In the early morning, visit Nameri National Park and Forest Reserve for birdwatching and river rafting activities. Later, proceed to Dirang.
Enroute Highlights:
  • Orchidarium at Tippi, where 1,000 different types of orchids are planted.
  • Tenga Valley and Naag Mandir.
  • Dirang is famous for its Hot Water Springs, enhancing its natural beauty. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay: Hotel in Dirang.
After breakfast, visit:
  • Sangti Valley
  • Dirang Dzong
  • Thembang Heritage Village
  • Proceed toward Tawang via a scenic drive alongside the Kameng River.
Enroute Highlights:

  • Jaswant Garh War Memorial, a tribute to the soldiers of the 1962 Indo-Chinese war

  • Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

  • Museum and library at the monastery displaying priceless collections.
  • Tawang Craft Centre for traditional masks, handwoven carpets, and jewelry.
  • Tawang War Memorial.

Drive back to Bomdila via:
  • Jung Falls
  • Sella Pass
  • Jaswant Garh
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and visit Bomdila Monastery in the evening.
Overnight stay: Hotel in Bomdila.
Early morning, visit Bomdila Viewpoint and drive toward Bhalukpong. Enjoy the scenic beauty enroute before heading to Guwahati Railway Station/Airport for departure.

What's Good: Hassle free booking, personalized trip itinerary We were quite apprehensive about the trip, but it worked out much better than our expectations. Special thanks to Harry for allayi (Read More)ng our fears and going out of his way to make the trip smooth and hassle free. Good vehicles, polite and knowledgeable drivers. Well planned sightseeing areas. Good hotels with hygienic rooms and decent buffet breakfast. Overall decent and safe stay. Worth the price.
What's Not Good: Being clubbed with a rowdy group of men for an island boat trip. But I guess that wasn't in control of the trip planners. Getting an uncomfortable mini bus for Pattaya to Bangkok journey with ineffective cooling

What's Good: Good hotels at great locations. Pick and drop from hotels made the whole trip seem easy. No need to pay for any attractions so we saved some cash for shopping. I would recommend sp (Read More)ending a little extra and get a private vehicle instead of shared one though.
What's Not Good: The hotels were a little old but all the hotels, beach and shopping area was walking distance from them so it's ok.
