Day 1 Raxaul Pickup and Drive to kathmandu (250 KM- Drive takes 7 Hours)

  • Arrive to in Kathmandu in the evening (7 hours)

·        First Stop: Doleshwor Mahadev Temple
Located in Bhaktapur, Doleshwor Mahadev is believed to be the head part of the Kedarnath Temple in India, making it a revered site for pilgrims. Devotees flock here to seek blessings, as this temple is thought to complete the sacred connection between Kedarnath and Nepal.

·        Second Stop: Kailashnath Mahadev Statue (Sanga)
Next, head to Sanga, which hosts the towering Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. Standing at 144 feet (44 meters), it is one of the tallest Shiva statues in the world. The peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views surrounding the statue provide a tranquil environment for reflection and photography.

·        Third Stop: Bhaktapur Heritage City
Continue to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Nepal’s best-preserved medieval cities. Explore the narrow, cobbled streets and historic architecture of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Key highlights include the Nyatapola Temple, 55-Window Palace, and Pottery Square, offering a rich immersion into Newari culture and history.

·        After a day of exploration, reach Nagarkot for a restful evening surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes. Relax and prepare for an early morning to witness Nagarkot’s famous sunrise, a highlight of this journey.

  • 7:30 AM - Breakfast.
  • Start the day with a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. I had planned my vacation plan with insight trip although I was new to it. Everything was planned very well. We had conversation with Neha 15 to 20 days before our trip. She attended our calls till la (Read More)st day and she thought of everything before our trip started and it was managed very well. There were situations where things were out of control but she handled it very calmly. Till last day she was there until outs trip got ended. Overall we had a great trip and may be in future I can think of again planning with Insight trips. Thank you One thing which I didn't like was. It was mainly I had problems in Nainital. Rather than having a stay in Bhimtal . Stay should be there in Nainital because most of the tourist places is in Nainital. Every night going back to bhimtal was hectic. I lost almost 2 to 3 hrs everyday. Secondly driver should be experienced and he should have complete knowledge of where we are travelling. This will help us to visit more and more places in less time.
