Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team warmly welcomes you and escorts you to your hotel in Kathmandu for check-in and a short rest. In the evening, you are free to explore Thamel — a lively and colorful neighborhood filled with rooftop cafés, live music bars, and bustling shops, perfect for a relaxed evening at your own pace.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
We begin early, heading to the airport for a breathtaking mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Upon landing, you’ll meet your local trekking guide and start your journey along scenic trails. The route descends gently through charming Sherpa villages and pine forests, crossing suspension bridges before reaching the peaceful village of Phakding.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After a hearty breakfast in Phakding, we continue our trek toward Namche Bazar. The trail gradually ascends, passing through beautiful alpine forests and over several suspension bridges spanning the Dudh Koshi River. As you approach Namche, you’ll catch your first glimpses of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. Namche Bazar is the vibrant Sherpa capital, alive with cozy cafés, bustling markets, and stunning mountain views.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Enjoy a peaceful breakfast in Namche before setting off for a rewarding hike. We ascend gradually but steadily to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village where you’ll witness authentic high-altitude life, stone houses, farming terraces, and local culture. From there, we continue uphill to reach the legendary Everest View Hotel — the world’s highest altitude hotel — offering panoramic Himalayan vistas and a serene, unforgettable experience.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After a sunrise breakfast surrounded by stunning Himalayan views, we begin the descent back to Lukla. We retrace our steps through Namche and Phakding, enjoying fresh perspectives of the familiar landscapes, pine forests, and iconic suspension bridges. Once in Lukla, it’s time to relax and reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Following breakfast, you’ll say goodbye to the mountains and board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we provide a private transfer to your hotel, where you can check in and unwind. The rest of the day is yours to explore Kathmandu’s vibrant streets, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy local cuisine before your journey concludes.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After enjoying your final breakfast in Kathmandu, our team will assist you with a private transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. You’ll board your scheduled flight, officially marking the end of your unforgettable Himalayan adventure with us.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.
