Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Kochi - Kathakali Dance Performance
- On arrival at Kochi Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel.
- Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city called the Gateway to Kerala.
- Later in the evening, proceed to watch the Kathakali Dance performance.
- Overnight stay in Kochi.
Day 2 Transfer to Munnar - Visit Tea Museum
- After early breakfast leave for Munnar.
- Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
- Enjoy visiting sections of Old Munnar, which includes the charming Old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews.
- Also visit the Tea Museum (Tea Museum timings - 1000 hours to 1700 hours).
- Post lunch, visit Mattupetty Lake, which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydroelectricity dam.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure to enjoy the surrounding beauty or take a stroll in the local market on your own.
- Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3 Transfer to Thekkady - Boat Ride in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
- Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) - the land of the spice plantations.
- On arrival, check in to your hotel.
- Post lunch at 2:00 PM, proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat ride.
- Note: Please carry a photo-id proof for the Periyar boat ride.
- The evening is at leisure for shopping at the bustling spice market in Kumily village on your own.
- Overnight in Thekkady
Day 4 Transfer to Kochi - Visit Fort Kochi and Chinese Fishing Net
- Next morning after breakfast, proceed for city tour of Kochi.
- Drive past the amazing Chinese Fishing Nets.
- On arrival visit Fort Kochi, walk to the Church of St Francis, the oldest European-built church in the country.
- Also see the Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, with its fine collection of mural paintings depicting scenes from the Hindu epics.
- Overnight stay at Kochi.
Day 5 Depart from Kochi
- Bid farewell to your tour as you are transferred to Kochi airport for your onward journey

It was a great experience with Himalayan Tour Club. It was a 9D8N tour comprisin (Read More)g Shimla-Manali-Dharmshala-Dalhousie. We were provided with a car that remained with us in the entire tour fro/to delhi with the same driver. Driver was very polite, humble and friendly. One Luv Bhardwaj from the club kept in continous touch to know about how the tour was going on. Hotels and the food served were quite good. It was a happy and memorable tour❤️.

I recently booked a trip through Travel Pedia, and unfortunately, my experience (Read More)with the hotel arrangements was disappointing(Dharmsala only )The room provided was not the same as what was shown to me during the enquiry. When I raised the issue, the Travel Pedia manager simply responded by saying, “The room has just been changed.”
It seems Travel Pedia expects customers to verify the room type on their own, even when clear assurances were given during the booking. I feel this is misleading, and travelers should be cautious and insist on written confirmation of room details before finalizing any bookings with them.
