Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Kozhikode Arrival
On your arrival at Kozhikode/Calicut airport, the second-largest city in Kerala, situated on the Malabar Coast, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with the check-in process. After freshening up and enjoying lunch, proceed for local sightseeing in and around Calicut. The sightseeing attractions in this legendary city include Thali Temple, Kappad Beach, Pazhassiraja Museum, and Beypore Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kozhikode.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kozhikode. Known as the "City of Spices," Kozhikode was a major trading hub for eastern spices. It is also referred to as the “City of Sculptures” due to its numerous architectural sculptures. Historically significant, it was discovered via the sea route by Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama. Kozhikode boasts lush greenery, serene beaches, historic sites, and a unique culture.

Today's itinerary includes visits to Calicut Beach, CSI Cathedral—part of the Malabar Diocese and a landmark of the city, and Mananchira Square Park. Then, explore Mishkal Mosque, built in the 14th century by the wealthy Arab merchant Nakhooda Mishkal. Enjoy lunch at the iconic Bombay Restaurant. Continue the tour with a visit to the Mother of God Cathedral before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kozhikode.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and journey to Wayanad, known as the "Green Paradise" of the Western Ghats. This hill station is renowned for its lush plantations, verdant valleys, dense forests, and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, our representatives will guide you through the check-in process. Overnight stay at the hotel in Wayanad.
Begin your day with breakfast before setting off for a sightseeing tour. Visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, a lush rainforest connecting Nagarhole and Bandipur parks in Karnataka and Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu. Spanning 345 sq. km, this sanctuary is home to diverse flora and fauna.

Next, visit Pookot Lake, a perennial freshwater lake surrounded by wooded hills. Enjoy boating and explore the freshwater aquarium. Conclude the day with a visit to Meenmutty Waterfalls, the largest and most spectacular falls in Wayanad District. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Wayanad.
In the morning, depart for Mysore. Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with hotel check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mysore.
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Mysore. Visit the grand Mysore Palace, originally built by the Maharaja of Mysore in 1911-1912, showcasing a blend of Hindu and Saracenic architectural styles with intricate archways, domes, and sculptures.

Explore the art gallery and head to Chamundi Hill to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple. Enjoy a panoramic view of Mysore city from the hill. On your way back, stop at the iconic Nandi Bull. Mysore is also famous for its exquisite silk, making it a great place for shopping. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Mysore.

After breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the hotel to drive to Bangalore Airport for onward journey.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
