Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kozhikode

On arrival in Kozhikode, you will be greeted by the representative at the airport.
Transfer to Kadavu resort and check-in.
Later, you can experience the healing touch of Ayurveda with a rejuvenating full-body massage.
In the evening, visit the 'Hindustan Kalari Sangam' a traditional martial arts center where you can witness a 'Kalaripayattu' (the martial art of Kerala) demonstration.
Overnight stay in Kozhikode.

Day 2 Kozhikode to Wayanad

After breakfast, drive to Sultan Bathery in Wayanad.
On arrival in Wayanad, check in to Tranquil Plantation Hideaway.
Later, you can visit the Edakkal Caves.
Overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 3 Wayanad Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Wayanad.
Visit the Wayanad Sanctuary.
In the afternoon, drive to Kuruva Island.
The guide will help you navigate your way around the island.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 4 Trek in Wayanad Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, you can go for a guided trek in the Wayanad Sanctuary.
Later visit the 3000-year-old Thirunelly temple located near the Papanashini stream.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 5 Wayanad to Thalassery

After breakfast, drive to Thalassery.
On arrival in Thakassery, check in to the Ayesha Manzil.
Later, enjoy Theyyam dance in the temple near the resort.
Spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Thalassery.

Day 6 Thalassery Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thalassery.
You can visit the fish markets ofThalassery or visit the ancient fort built by the British.
You can also drive to Muzhipillangad Beach which is a drive-in beach where you can drive along miles of white sands.
In the evening, take part in a cookery demonstration by Faiza your hostess, who is renowned for her ‘Mopilla’ cuisine.
Overnight stay in Thalassery.

Day 7 Thalassery to Athirapally

After breakfast, drive to Athirapally.
En-route visit Guruvayoor, the temple town near Thrissur.
On arrival in Athirapally, check in to the Rainforest Resort.
Overnight stay in Athirapally.

Day 8 Athirapally to Kochi

After breakfast, drive to Kochi.
On arrival in Kochi, check in to Old Harbour Hotel.
In the evening, you can go on a relaxing sunset cruise.
Overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 9 Kochi Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kochi.
Visit the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, the Santa Cruz Basilica, the Dutch Palace, the Spice Market, and the 15th-century Chinese Fishing Nets.
In the evening, visit an auditorium to watch the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali.
Overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 10 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kochi Airport for your return flight.

I recently traveled to Kerala with 7C Destinations and had a mostly pleasant exp (Read More)erience. The itinerary covered some of the best locations like Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Varkala, and the hotels arranged in each place were comfortable and well-located. Our driver was a true highlight – very cooperative and friendly, which made our journey smooth and enjoyable.

However, the food on the Alleppey houseboat was a major letdown, especially for (Read More)vegetarians. It was quite disappointing and definitely needs improvement for future guests with dietary preferences. Overall, a well-organized trip with a few areas for improvement.
