Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Paro – Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet our representative and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. En route, visit the Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, located in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park. This 169-foot golden statue houses 125,000 miniature Buddhas inside — a truly awe-inspiring sight. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley.

As you descend from Buddha Point, seek blessings at Devi Panchayan Mandir, a unique Hindu shrine that showcases a fusion of Bhutanese and Hindu architecture. Here, you can offer prayers to Goddess Durga, Lord Ganesh, Surya, Shiva, and Vishnu, and pour holy water on a giant Shivling installed at the temple.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Takin Preserve Centre at Motithang, home to Bhutan’s national animal – the Takin – along with Muntjac deer, Sambar, and Serow.

Next, explore the Folk Heritage Museum, which offers deep insight into traditional Bhutanese lifestyle and material culture. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent Tibetan-style stupa built in 1974 in memory of the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. It is a major spiritual landmark for locals.
Later, head to the Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Market, a perfect place to witness local craftsmanship and shop for souvenirs.
After sightseeing, drive to Paro for your night halt. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, proceed to explore Paro. En route, cross Dochula Pass and make a brief stop at Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest fortresses, ideal for photography.
Visit Tachog Lhakhang, also known as the "Temple of the Hill of the Excellent Horse", built by the legendary bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo. Next, stop at the Airport View Point, a perfect spot to enjoy views of the Paro Valley and catch sight of planes taking off or landing.
Continue to the National Museum, an old watchtower housing an impressive collection of artifacts, including traditional costumes, weapons, and religious items that showcase Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage.
Visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning “Fortress on a Heap of Jewels”, renowned for its stunning Bhutanese architecture.
Finally, prepare for a short trek to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), perched on a sheer cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. A visit to this sacred site is a must and marks the highlight of your Bhutan journey. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of Bhutan.
