Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Haridwar - Barkot

Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or your pickup point, meet our driver and begin the journey towards Barkot, passing through Mussoorie or Vikas Nagar. Once you arrive, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at Barkot.

Early in the morning, we will drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. From here, you’ll start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri (on foot, by horse, or doli at your own expense). After bathing in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund and offering prayers at the Yamunotri Temple, trek back to Jankichatti. Later, we’ll return to Barkot where you can relax, have dinner, and spend the night.
Yamunotri Temple Note: Built in the 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur, the temple has been reconstructed twice. Pilgrims often cook rice by dipping it in the hot waters of the Tapt Kund, bringing it home as “prasad.” You can also offer pooja at the sacred Divya Shila near the temple.

After breakfast, we check out and drive towards Uttarkashi. En route, we will visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check in to the hotel and rest. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Uttarkashi Highlights: Known as the “Saumya Varanasi” of Kaliyuga, Uttarkashi is set on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is home to many ashrams and temples, including the historic Vishwanath Temple with its massive iron trident and ancient architectural style.

We’ll start early and drive towards Gangotri, pausing at Gangnani for a holy dip in the Garam Kund. Continuing through the beautiful Harsil Valley, famous for its deodar trees and mountain views, we’ll reach the revered Gangotri Temple. Take a dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River, offer prayers, and soak in the serene surroundings. Later, we’ll drive back to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and head towards Sitapur or Guptkashi via Ghansali. Along the way, admire the scenic Mandakini River at Tilwara, which originates from Kedarnath. On arrival, check in to the hotel, refresh, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight.

Today, after breakfast, our driver will drop you at Sonprayag. From there, take a local jeep to Gaurikund and begin the 20 km trek to Kedarnath. Once at Kedarnath, visit the temple, attend the evening Bhajan Sandhya, and stay overnight.

Gaurikund Note: According to legend, this is where Goddess Parvati (Gauri) meditated, winning Lord Shiva’s love.
By Helicopter Option: Depending on availability, we’ll drive to the Phata / Sirsi helipad for a helicopter ride to Kedarnath. On arrival, proceed to the temple for darshan and attend the evening arti before an overnight stay.

In the morning, after darshan and pooja at Kedarnath, return to Sonprayag by trek. Our driver will meet you there, and we’ll drive back to Guptkashi for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.
By Helicopter Option: After completing darshan and pooja at Kedarnath, take the heli back to Phata / Sirsi. Our driver will pick you up from the helipad and take you to Guptkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Kedarnath Legend: This is one of Lord Shiva’s 12 Jyotirlingas, where, according to mythology, Shiva appeared as a bull to the Pandavas and left his hump here. The other parts of his body are worshipped across the Panch Kedar temples.

After breakfast, we check out and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, visiting Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh Temple on the way. Once in Badrinath, check in to the hotel, freshen up, have dinner, and stay overnight.

In the morning, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple for darshan and pooja, then explore the surroundings. Afterward, we’ll drive to Rudraprayag, stopping to see the Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, and Karnaprayag sangams. On arrival, check in to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Badrinath Note: One of the Char Dhams, Badrinath is nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountains, with the stunning Neelkanth Peak in the backdrop. The name “Badri Van” refers to the once-abundant wild berries in the area.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Haridwar, visiting Maa Dhari Temple and Devprayag Sangam along the way. We’ll drop you off at Haridwar with beautiful memories of the Chardham Yatra.
