Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati airport/station and transfer to Shillong.
Visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake that lies en route.
On arrival at Shillong, check in to your hotel and get settled in.
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 2 Excursion to Cherrapunjee

After an early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place in the world.
See the beautiful waterfall Nohkalikai.
Explore the caves known as Mawsmai.
Return to Shillong by evening.
Visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak which lie en route to Shillong for some breathtaking views.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 3 Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, leave for Kaziranga National Park.
Check in to the hotel.
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 4 Exploring Kaziranga National Park

Explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant early morning.
Enjoy the thrilling experience of watching the wildlife.
Return to the resort and have breakfast.
Evening free for leisure.

Day 5 Transfer to Tezpur

After breakfast, transfer to Tezpur.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 6 Transfer to Bomdila

After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Day at leisure.

Day 7 Transfer to Tawang

Enroute visit Sela Pass and Jaswant Garh.

Day 8 Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery, Namgye Lhaste, Panjang Teng Tso Lake, Gorsham Chorten, Gontse Garden and Singar Ani Gompa.

Day 9 Transfer to Dirang

After breakfast, transfer to Dirang.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 10 Transfer to Bhalukpong

Day 12 Exploring Guwahati

After breakfast, set out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple.
In the afternoon, visit the Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (on your own).
Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 13 Departure

After breakfast, drop off at the railway station or airport for your onward journey.

Trip was very well planned and assisted by the Imity agent Pragyan at every stag (Read More)e. Hello was always available and responded to our every query and request. On each day of our trip he asked us how the trip is going and if there is any issue. Imity travel also arranged our Kamakhya Devi temple darshan which was hassle free. Our driver cum tour Guide Bishal Das Gupta was also exceptional, very well behaved and experienced. He ensured us to be tension free and made sure we enjoy at every sight seeing places. We planned our Arunachal trip from Gauhati to Tawang and back via kaziranga. Through holidify we found reference of Trikhal Tourism and believe me it was an exc (Read More)ellent find. They helped me plan the itinerary, hotel booking , car with driver. And all was perfectly arranged. The driver and the car was excellent. It was a smooth trip with good experience. They took extra care to ensure they took us to good eating joints and market places wherever possible. Highly recommend them if you are planning your trip to Arunachal. One of the Hotel at Bhalukpong - WII international was an average hotel and should be avoided if possible.

Kudos to 3 Way destination for crafting a 6N/7D trip to Tawang at a leisurely pace. The hotels arranged were quite good and the vehicle was brand new. Had a gre (Read More)at time. I'm sure my next few trips to other amazing destinations of the North East & Bhutan will be through them. Keep it up 3 Way Destination!!
