Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi by Flight or Train & Transfer to Mathura (Approx. 183 Kms/03 ½ Hrs)
  • Upon arrival, meet and greet at Delhi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Mathura.
  • Mathura, one of Hinduism's seven sacred cities, is the birthplace of the beloved Lord Krishna.
  • Located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Mathura and Vrindavan are often considered twin cities, situated only 10 km apart.
  • Mathura is a small town dotted with temples from various ages and attracts a multitude of pilgrims from around the world.
  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Mathura Hotel.
  • In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed for the Vrindavan sightseeing.
  • One of the oldest cities on the banks of the Yamuna, Vrindavan is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for devotees of Krishna. It is said that Lord Krishna spent his childhood in Vrindavan. The name of the city is derived from "Vrinda" (meaning basil) and "van" (meaning grove), which may refer to the two small groves at Nidhivan and Seva Kunj. Since Vrindavan is considered a sacred place, many people come here to abandon their worldly lives.
  • Banke Bihari Mandir: Shri Banke Bihari Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple is among the seven temples of Thakur of Vrindavan. The image of Lord Krishna in the temple appears in the form of a child and is seen standing in the Tribhanga position.
  • Radha Vallabh Temple: Situated near Gotam Nagar on the cliff near Bankey Bihari temple, Radha Vallabh Mandir is one of the seven temples of Thakur of Vrindavan. This temple epitomizes the sacred and divine love of Radha and Krishna, displayed in the rarest form known as 'Ras-bhakti'. Enshrined by Lord Krishna, the temple does not have a deity of Radha. Instead, it has a crown placed next to Lord Krishna to signify her presence.
  • Radha Raman Temple: Built by Gopala Bhatta Gosvami, this temple was established in 1542. It is said that the deity here is self-manifested from one of the shalagram-shilas. As an idol of Radha is not present here, a crown placed near Lord Krishna depicts her.
  • Nidhivan: Nidhivan, a temple nestled in the holy birthplace of Krishna, has a sense of miracle attached to it. Nidhivan is known as the place where Lord Krishna visits every night to perform Ras Leela.
  • ISKCON Vrindavan: Located in the Raman Reti area of Vrindavan, the ISKCON temple has become a major attraction. Also known as Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Balram.
  • Prem Mandir: Known as the "Temple of God's Love," Prem Mandir is one of the most popular places to visit in Vrindavan. It is dedicated to Radha Krishna as well as Sita Ram. Made out of white marble and adorned with intricate carvings, this temple is also famous for its architectural beauty.
  • After sightseeing, return to Mathura. Overnight stay at the Mathura hotel.
  • Early morning, have breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, check out and proceed for Mathura sightseeing:
    • Places to be Covered:
    • Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple: It is believed that this temple is situated at the place where Lord Krishna was born, and various excavations have attempted to validate this belief.
    • Dwarkadheesh Temple: The Dwarkadhish Temple, regarded as one of the holiest temples in Mathura, is famous throughout the country for its elaborate architecture and paintings. Built in 1814, the temple is relatively new but highly revered. It is dedicated to Lord Dwarkadheesh, a form of Lord Krishna known as Dwarkanath, depicted in a black marble idol.
  • After sightseeing, proceed to Agra.
  • Located on the banks of the River Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh, Agra is a popular tourist destination as it is home to one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. It offers a glimpse into the architectural history and legacy of the Mughal Empire, along with two other UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Constructed entirely out of white marble in the 17th century, the Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. Every year, visitors numbering more than the entire population of Agra pass through the magnificent gates to catch a glimpse of this breathtaking monument!
    • Agra Fort: Also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge, or the Red Fort of Agra, the Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is situated about 2.5 km northwest of the famous Taj Mahal. My family and I just used We Traveloutsav to plan a trip to Agra, Mathura, and Vrindavan. Shraddha did an excellent job assisting me in tailoring my trip to mee (Read More)t my needs. I've endured a lot of domestic travel, but I can say with certainty that this trip was the finest yet—and that's all thanks to Shraddha! When it comes to her craft, she excels. Bookings or the itinerary were not a concern for me. She literally handled every detail. During the trip, I told her that we had a small issue with one of our hotel's services, and a few minutes later, everything was resolved. My service was like five times better. I would definitely recommend Shraddha and her company! I am absolutely certain that she will be our only travel agent in the future! Thank you for the excellent experience and great trip, Shraddha!
