Day 1 Arrive in Phuentsholing - Leisure Day
- Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing
- The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India.
- Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains.
- On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
- Overnight stay will be at Phuentsholing.
Day 2 Transfer to Thimphu - Hike to Tango and Cherry Monasteries
- After breakfast, transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
- Enroute, embark on a hike to Tango and Cherry Monasteries, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
- Continue to Thimphu and check-in at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu Sightseeing Tour - Free SIM Card
- Explore Thimphu's cultural landmarks including King's Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, and the National Library.
- Visit the local telecom office to collect your complimentary Bhutanese SIM card for convenient communication during your stay.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 4 Transfer to Punakha - Hot Stone Bath
- After breakfast drive to Punakha, via Dochu-La-Pass.
- Experience a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath to relax and rejuvenate.
- Continue towards Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang - The Temple of Fertility, built in the 15th century.
- Also visit Punakha Dzong.
- On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 5 Excursion to Gantey
- After breakfast, visit Wangdue Dzong & start full-day excursion to Gangtey.
- Gantey is the home of Black Necked Crane, which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in the north.
- It is a beautiful valley in Bhutan.
- You can visit Gantey Gompha.
- Afternoon returns back to Punakha.
- Overnight stay will be at Punakha.
Day 6 Transfer to Paro - Visit Rinpung Dzong, Ta Dzong and Maggi Session
- After breakfast, transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.).
- On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
- Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities.
- Rinpung Dzong - the administrative seat of the district of Paro.
- Experience a unique Bhutanese Maggi snack preparation session, learning about local twists to this beloved instant noodle dish.
- The evening is free for leisure.
- Overnight stay will be at Paro.
Day 7 Paro Tiger Nest Excursion
- Embark on a challenging hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched on a cliff.
- Visit Kitchu Monastery and Drukgyel Dzong.
- Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 8 Excursion to Chele-La-Pass
- After breakfast drive to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motor able road in Bhutan.
- Enjoy the scenic beauty & memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass.
- Back to Paro.
- Rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 9 Transfer to Phuentsholing

Day 10 Depart from Phuentsholing

From the moment we landed at Bagdogra airport, everything was beautifully organized — smooth transfers, comfortable stays, and a thoughtfully planned itinerary that allowed us to truly experience Bhutan’s serene beauty. Nothing felt rushed, and each day was well balanced.
A special mention to our guide, Sangay Nidup, and our driver, Amber, who made the journey even more memorable. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always ensured our comfort. We didn’t just visit places — we experienced the culture, food, and hidden gems of Bhutan.
Our package included three hikes in Thimpu, Phobijika valley and Paro. Our guide, Sangay made all hikes very enjoyable and informative sharing his past experiences. He also gave suggestions for shopping in Thimpu/Paro and took us to the local markets and helped us experience the local lifestyle. He was very helpful in taking photos during the trip.
The highlight of the trip was the hike to Tiger’s Nest — challenging, but absolutely worth it. The views and the entire experience were simply magical.
