Day 1 Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and proceed towards Phuentsholing. Arrive in Phuentsholing and embark on the unforgettable experience of crossing the Indo-Bhutan border on foot. Check in to your hotel and freshen up. Explore the locality in Phuentsholing and try local cuisines or simply relax in the charismatic environment of Bhutan. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and go for immigration. Proceed towards Thimphu, enjoying the beautiful journey through the landscapes. Pass through Chukha Waterfall and Chuzom Bridge, the confluence of two rivers, Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check in to your hotel. Leisure time in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, visit Simply Bhutan for an interactive cultural experience. Move towards Paro for the Tiger Nest Trek, visiting Raga View Point, Paro Chu, Bird Eye View of Paro Airport, Paro Dzong, and the local market. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha. Visit Dochula Pass (3150 mts.), a beautiful mountain pass with a concentration of 108 memorial stupas. Visit Punakha Dzong, the second oldest dzong in Bhutan, which served as the capital until the mid-1950s. Explore the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges in Bhutan. Dinner and overnight stay in Punakha.

After breakfast, go for Phubjika Valley sightseeing. Overnight stay in Punakha.

After breakfast, proceed towards Paro. Visit Paro Chu, Bird Eye View of Paro Airport, Paro Dzong, and the local market. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, proceed towards Paro town. Visit Tiger Nest view, Paro Museum, and enjoy leisure time for shopping and exploring the local market of Paro town. In the afternoon, drive to Phuentsholing with stopovers to enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. At 8:00 AM, depart for Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

We loved everything about the trip. Me and my husband travelled to Bhutan and ou (Read More)r request was a very last minute request but the Tour Manager Mr. Bharath ji ensured a completely hassle free and smooth programme for us. Right from taking care of our permits to ensuring our safety throughout the trip and also till we reached our home Bharath ji and his team ensured we had a great time. Also would like to mention when I raised a request for Bhutan trip on Holidify me Bharath ji was the first tour operator who reached out to us with a perfect plan within 30 minutes. The rooms were great and spacious. We being vegetarians were little worried about the food , but thanks to Bharath ji and his Team they ensured taking great care of our curated meals in all locations. Special mention to our guide Sonam ji and Our driver Sidhdhart ji, we started as a team and always felt we were traveling as a team. Excellent services and warmth.
