Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi
  • On arrival at the airport in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Spend the rest of the day at Leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.
  • After an early breakfast, at 08:00 AM drive to Halong.
  • On arrival in Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf, transfer to Halong Cruise by tender.
  • Have a welcome drink on the boat and check in to your private cabin.
  • At 01:15 PM - 02:15 PM have lunch on board while cruising through Halong Bay.
  • Later visit Ti Top island where you can swim, sunbathe, or trek.
  • Afterward at 04:30 PM, arrive at Pearl Farm Village.
  • You can roam around and swim or kayak in the bay.
  • At 05:30 PM, return back to the cruise.
  • Join a cooking class and learn some traditional dishes.
  • Later have tea on the sundeck.
  • Overnight stay on the cruise in Halong Bay.
  • At 06:00 AM, practice Tai Chi on the sundeck.
  • Later, at 07:00-07:30 AM, have breakfast.
  • During breakfast, cruise through the other parts of Halong Bay.

  • On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda.

  • Proceed to the Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden.
  • Afterward, take a boat ride to An Khanh.
  • Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan.
  • Enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.
  • Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.
  • Afterward, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
  •  Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
  • After breakfast, proceed to  Cu Chi tunnels.
  • Before entering the tunnels you can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
  • Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.

What's Good: We had an incredible 5-day Vietnam trip (Hanoi – Halong Bay – Sapa) flawlessly organized by VAC Travel and our wonderful agent Duke Nguyen. Every aspect — from airport transfers an (Read More)d hotel check-ins to guided tours — was handled smoothly and professionally, making the trip stress-free for our family with two kids. The Halong Bay cruise with cave exploration and bamboo boat ride was a standout experience, and the kids had a blast at Dragon Park. Our Sapa trek through local villages, the alpine coaster, and the breathtaking Fansipan cable car ride were truly unforgettable. The guides were warm, punctual, and very knowledgeable. We also appreciated the thoughtful pacing, cultural immersion, and flexibility throughout. Highly recommend VAC for anyone looking for a seamless and enriching Vietnam holiday!
