Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar
- Pickup by our representative at the Srinagar airport and transfer to deluxe houseboat (Mahjong Group of Houseboats).
- Spend the day to relax in the houseboat.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake in the evening.
- Visit Floating Market from shikara ride.
- Dinner in the houseboat.
Day 2 Srinagar Local Sightseeing
- Embark on a half day tour of Mughal Gardens.
- Visit the Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.
- Return to houseboat for hot lunch.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a shikara ride on Dal Lake.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat
Day 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back
- Prepare for a full day tour of Gulmarg, known as one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley.
It is also popular for its high altitude golf course (in summer), and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. - In the evening, return to the houseboat.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 4 Srinagar to Sonamarg and Kargil
- Start in the morning and drive to Kargil by car/coach.
- Enjoy the panoramic vistas in Sonamarg on the way.
- Cross Zojila Pass and continue drive towards Drass (second coldest inhibited place in the world).
- Stop here for tea and passport check.
- Continue to drive for another two and half hours to reach Kargil.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Kargil to Leh
- Start in the morning for a full day drive to Leh.
The drive today crosses through three passes which will cover Mulbek village. - Reach Lamayuru Monastery at lunch time.
- Continue the drive to Nimu village.
- Drive along the picturesque view of Zanskar River following into Indus.
- Arrival at Leh.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Leh Local Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed for Indus Valley Monastery tour.
- Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis Gompa, Sindhu Ghat and Stok Palace Museum.
- Packed or hot lunch will be provided.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Leh to Khardung La Pass
- Day excursion to Khardungla Pass, which is the highest motorable pass in the world.
- At the top of the pass, enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains.
- In the late afternoon return back to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Departure from Leh
- After breakfast, drop to Leh airport to catch the onward flight back home.

Recently had trip for shimla and manali for 4days with Himalayan safar of jagdis (Read More)h bhai. Had Great travel experience! The accommodation was very good neat and clean also comfortable, the driver Ravi bhai was polite, friendly and professional, suggests us multiple good things throughout trip and special thanks to Jagdish bhai he’s like big brother from himachal. He was continuously taking follow-ups and guided us well throughout the trip. Everything was well organized and hassle-free. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience with Himalayan Tour Club. It was a 9D8N tour comprisin (Read More)g Shimla-Manali-Dharmshala-Dalhousie. We were provided with a car that remained with us in the entire tour fro/to delhi with the same driver. Driver was very polite, humble and friendly. One Luv Bhardwaj from the club kept in continous touch to know about how the tour was going on. Hotels and the food served were quite good. It was a happy and memorable tour❤️.
