Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar and Exploring Dal Lake
  • Arrive at Srinagar airport.
  • Meet with the representatives and transfer to the houseboat.
  • Visit the local attractions like Mughal Garden, Nishat and Shalimar. 
  • Visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, and ornaments.
  • After lunch, visit Shankaracharya Temple.
  • In the evening, enjoy 1hr boat ride on Dal Lake in a Shikara.
  • While returning, visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from paper mache.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at the deluxe houseboat.
  • After breakfast, leave for a full-day trip to Sonamarg.
  • Enjoy the scenic route.
  • Explore the area after arrival.
  • Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.

We had a private vehicle with a courteous and friendly driver, Muzamil Ah, arranged by Happy Jacks. He was very knowledgeable about the region and made sure we never missed any must-see spots. They checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly, and they were quick to handle any small issues we had. Their local support team in Kashmir was always a call away. What's Good: Excellent service provided by Faijaan ji, the cab service is excellent and Danish bhai is a very good tour guide.Accomodation ,food quality very good, value of money.
