Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Chandigarh - Shimla ( 120 km 04 - 05 Hour)

Meals: Dinner only Morning pick-up from Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport and proceed towards Shimla. En route, visit Timber Trail and Mushroom City, Solan. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast, proceed towards Sangla Valley. En route, visit Kufri and Narkanda. Evening arrival at Sangla Valley. Overnight stay at Rakchham.

  • Chitkul

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Drive towards Chitkul, the last village on the India-China border. Explore the village and return via Sangla to Kalpa. Overnight stay at Kalpa.

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Drive through Powari and Pooh towards Nako. Visit Nako Monastery and Lake. Continue to Tabo. Overnight stay in Tabo.

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Visit Dhankar and its museum. Proceed to Kaza and explore the market. Overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Key Monastery. Continue towards Komic, the world’s highest motorable village (4500m). En route, visit Kibber. Take a village walk in Komic, then return to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from Kaza in the morning, passing through Rangrik and Losar. Continue towards Kunzum Pass (4,551m), a high mountain pass on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas, located 122 km from Manali. After crossing Kunzum Pass, drive to Chandertal Lake (also known as Moon Lake). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, drive towards Manali. En route, visit Rohtang Pass (3,978m), one of the most visited tourist spots in the Himalayas, known for its year-round snow. Upon arrival in Manali, have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

What's Good: All destination Hotels and their Breakfast were excellent but suggest you to add fruits and Bread/Toast Butter/Jam as option for children and some time for adult also.

What's Good: I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Welgreen Kerala Holidays, expertly managed by Mr. George. Our customized tour package exceeded our expectations, blending comf (Read More)ort and memorable experiences. Hotel selections were impressive: Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari offered breathtaking sunrise views and delicious food. Hotel Germanus in Madurai, Hotel Soma Palmshore in Kovalam, and Hotel Taika in Rameshwaram provided pleasant stays with good food and courteous staff. The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available. Some valuable tips for future travelers: verify temple timings and dress code regulations in advance to optimize your itinerary. Ladies can find lovely, affordable sarees and dress materials. Engaging local drivers or guides can also enhance your experience. Mr. George and Welgreen Kerala Holidays deserve 100% marks for crafting an unforgettable trip with thoughtful hotel choices and a well-planned itinerary. What's Not Good: The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available and no more activities at the shore.
