Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra/ NJP and drive to Phuntsholing (Approximately 4 hrs. drive)
The Asia Valleys Tours & Travels (AVTT) team will be waiting at Bagdogra/ NJP for a meet-and-greet. Then, drive to Phuntsholing via the beautiful Teasta Tea Garden. Overnight in a 3-Star hotel in Phuntsholing.
Day 2 Phuentsholing - Thimphu (Approximately 4 hrs. drive)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will go to the immigration office to get the passport stamp/permit. Then, we will drive to Thimphu. On the way, we will halt at Gedu to go sightseeing: Chuka, Wangkha waterfall, and Chonzom. Upon reaching Thimphu, we will check into a hotel and spend the evening strolling around the town. We will then spend the night in a 3-Star hotel.
Day 3 Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit the following places in Thimphu:
Overnight at Thimphu in 3-Star Hotel

- Simply Bhutan
- Takin reserve
- Sangaygang view point (BBS Tower)

- Kaja Thorm/ Changyul Park

Day 4 Thimphu - Punakha
Drive to Punakha, stopping at Dochulla Pass for sightseeing and Chimi Lhakhang. Upon reaching Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, Changyul village, and Bhutan's longest suspension bridge. Overnight at Punakha in 3-Star Hotel
Day 5 Punakha - Paro
Before starting Paro, we will visit Khamsum Yul-le Namgyal Chorten and drive to Paro. On the way, we will stop near Issuna for a riverside walk. Upon reaching Paro, we will visit the Paro National Museum and Paro Dzong and take a photo shoot in Bhutanese attire. Overnight at Paro in 3 Star hotel.
Day 6 Tiger Nest's Hike
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Tiger Nest base camp and start the hike. Take an evening stroll around Paro town, and later, go for a hot stone bath to relax. Overnight at Paro in 3 Star Hotel
Day 7 Drive to Phuentsholing via Celle la Pass
We will drive to Chellela and spend some time there viewing the beautiful Himalayan range and Paro & Haa Valley. Then, we will drive to Phuntsholing. We will overnight in a 3-Star hotel in Phuntsholing.
Day 8 Departure
Transfer to the border or airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your Bhutanese adventure.

The rooms were great and spacious. We being vegetarians were little worried about the food , but thanks to Bharath ji and his Team they ensured taking great care of our curated meals in all locations. Special mention to our guide Sonam ji and Our driver Sidhdhart ji, we started as a team and always felt we were traveling as a team. Excellent services and warmth. Right from the planning stage, the team was extremely flexible and attentive. They offered multiple itinerary options and thoughtfully customized the plan based on our preferences. A special mention to the beautiful candlelight dinner curated exclusively for us — it was thoughtfully arranged and added a truly romantic and personal touch to the trip. We also had an amazing karaoke night with the guides, which was incredibly fun and made the entire experience feel even more warm, friendly, and memorable.
