Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Athens
  • Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight in Athens Hotel.
  • Breakfast in the hotel.
  • Pick up from the hotel for sightseeing on SIC (shared in coach) basis
  • See Syntagma Square, the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Athens Academy, the University, the National Library and the Hadrian’s Arch.
  • Pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus and visit the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896.
  • On the Acropolis, visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally, “the harmony between material and spirit”, the Parthenon.
  • Continue and visit the place where the statues finally found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era, the museum of Acropolis.
  • Drop off at the hotel or the city centre at the end of the tour.
  • Overnight stay in Athens.
  • Early in the morning head out for a bicycle tour around the city. 
  • Head back to the hotel for breakfast.
  • In the afternoon take a ferry to Crete. 
  • Checkin to the hotel for overnight stay.
  • Breakfast in the hotel.
  • The day is free to explore Crete or experience an optional tour
  • Visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and the famous beaches
  • Crete is not just 8300 km of sun, sand, sea and mountains but a place full of shopping locations, culture, night clubs and infrastructure. It contains beautiful gorges, rivers, and lakes and is surrounded by a large number of islands.
  • After breakfast, spend the day at leisure exploring the island. 
  • After breakfast, transfer to the Crete Airport depending on the flight back home.

We had a lovely family holiday and everything was really well organised from Rohits side . He took care of all our visas , transfers and sightseeing , and internal flights. Apart from the painstaking (Read More) visa process everything else was really amazing and we had a superb trip . Thank you Rohit !
