Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Bhalukpong

Arrive at Guwahati airport/station and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in at your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a River Cruise on the mighty River Brahmaputra.
Later, visit the local market.
Assam is famous for Assam Silk, particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2 Transfer to Dirang - En Route Visit Tipi Orchidarium

After breakfast, drive to Dirang (140 km, ~5-6 hours).
En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, home to a variety of orchids.
Continue to Dirang, a picturesque valley with stunning views.
Check into your hotel upon arrival.
Visit Dirang Dzong and the hot water springs.
Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 3 Transfer to Tawang - Stop at Sela Pass

After breakfast, drive to Tawang (130 km, ~6-7 hours).
En route, stop at Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Sela Lake, a high-altitude lake with beautiful views.
Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
Continue to Tawang and check into your hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4 Tranfer to Tawang - Visit Monasteries, War Memorial and Markets

After breakfast, explore Tawang.
Visit Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India.
Explore the Tawang War Memorial.
Visit Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.
Explore local markets and handicraft centers.
Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5 Depart for Guwahati

After breakfast, drive to Tawang.
On the way, visit the war cemetery.
Afterwards, continue the drive to Tawang.
On arrival in Tawang, check in to the hotel.
Visit Taktsang Gompa and then proceed for a hike to Nuranang Waterfalls.
In the evening, visit the Tibetan Settlement Market.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
