Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Bhalukpung
  • Arrive at the Guwahati airport/station and be picked-up and escorted to Bhalukpung. 
  • On reaching Bhalupkung, check-in to our hotel. 
  • Visit the Bhalukpong Fort and Tipi today. 
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel. 
  • After early breakfast, leave for Dirang.
  • On the way to Dirang, visit the orchand research center, which is amdist of thousand of orchids and tribal village of Sherdukpen.
  • Check in to the hotel at arrival and later proceed for sightseeing.
  • The evening is free 
  • Overnight stay at Dirang.
  • After breakfast, leave for Tawang. 
  • En-route visit the famous hot springs of Dirang.
  • On the way stop at Sela Pass and Jaswantgarh Museum. Proceed to drive to Tawang
  • On arrival check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang. 
  • After a delicious breakfast, head for an excursion to Bumla La Pass.
  • Today explore the  Madhuri Lake, known initially as Sangestar Tso Lak. 
  • Spend the day exploring the lake and to witness the history of the Indian War that took place at Bumla La in 1962.
  • In the evening head back to Tawang for a night stay.
  • After breakfast, head out for Bomdila. 
  • Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. 
  • Later visit Lower Gompa and Emporium Local Market.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • After early breakfast leave for Tezpur. 
  • On arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for sightseeing. 
  • Visit Agnigarh and then head to Nameri National Park.
  • You can go swimming or river rafting  in the park. 
  • Overnight stay at Tezpur.
  • After early breakfast, leave for Itanagar.
  • Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.
  • Visit  Ganga Lake, Ita Fort, Namdapha National Park , Rupa and Gompa Buddhist Temple. 
  • Overnight stay at Itananagar. 
  • After breakfast, drive to Ziro. 
  • Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. 
  • Visit Tarin Fish Farm - Paddy cultivation, Kile Pakho, Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and Meghna Cave Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Ziro.
  • After breakfast, leave for airport/station to continue your journey home.

What's Good: The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and support of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.
What's Not Good: The accommodat (Read More)ion in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hotels with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.

What's Good: We were on 6N/7D trip to NE, tour was planned in short notice Monadipa was very instrumental in planing out our itinerary, whole team was always available during the trip on WhatsA (Read More)pp/ Phone call.
What's Not Good: We liked everything on trip specially the trekking part to Double decker root bridge and blue lagoon lil further from double decker bridge, lil tiring but will recommend every one in good health to cover up these destinations once in life time

What's Good: Well arranged by Hemant on the hotels, transportations and to the interesting places/temples. Very caring and with follow-up calls from time to time. Arranged very good drivers at (Read More) different locations. As foreigners, we feel very safe and homely travelling with Gateways Destination. Will definitely contact them again for my future travels and will also introduce GATEWAYS DESTINATION N to our friends and families. Thank You Hemant and your staff for the memorable trip.
What's Not Good: All was good, no complains.

What's Good: Everything was well organized. All stay options were good.
What's Not Good: Most of the places were dry in cheerapunji due to off season -Feb. And some places were closed (Read More). I would suggest to check this before going.
