Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu - Hotel Transfer
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Spend the rest of the day at leisure—relaxing after your flight, exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, or preparing for the trek ahead. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Later, meet your trekking guide for a briefing and gear check to ensure you’re all set. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today, after an early breakfast, you’ll set off on a scenic drive to Pokhara, Nepal’s picturesque lakeside city. The journey along the Prithvi Highway offers beautiful views of rivers, hills, and small villages. On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by the serene Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, drive about 1.5 hours to Nayapul, the trek’s starting point. Begin walking through charming local villages and lush green hills, following the Bhurungdi Khola river. The trail gradually ascends to Tikhedhunga, where you’ll stay overnight.
Today’s trek is a bit challenging but rewarding. You’ll climb a steep stone staircase to Ulleri village, pass through rhododendron forests, and enjoy scenic mountain views. As you reach Ghorepani, nestled among the hills, you’ll see the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges in the distance. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.
Start early with a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill, one of Nepal’s best panoramic viewpoints. Watch the golden sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and other peaks. After soaking in the views, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then continue trekking through forests and ridges to Tadapani. Overnight stay in Tadapani.
Today’s trail descends steeply through lush forests and crosses a suspension bridge before climbing back up to Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village facing Annapurna South and Machapuchare. Rest here and enjoy the breathtaking views. Overnight stay in Chhomrong.
Descend along the stone steps, cross the Chhomrong Khola, and climb up to Sinuwa. Continue through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests, passing Bamboo village and finally reaching Dovan, surrounded by towering cliffs. Overnight stay in Dovan.
Today’s trail climbs gradually through a forested gorge, with occasional views of waterfalls. As you ascend past Himalayan Hotel, the landscape becomes more rugged and alpine. Reach Deurali, where you can rest and prepare for the push towards the Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight stay in Deurali.
Start early and ascend past Machapuchare Base Camp, enjoying stunning views of Machapuchare and the surrounding peaks. Continue towards Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic amphitheater of giant peaks—Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and others. Celebrate your achievement and soak in the incredible atmosphere. Overnight stay at Annapurna Base Camp.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over Annapurna, then begin the descent. Retrace your steps down through Machapuchare Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan, finally reaching the bamboo forests of Bamboo village. Overnight stay in Bamboo.
Continue downhill through forests, climb back up to Chhomrong, and then descend steeply to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs. Take a relaxing dip in the hot springs by the river—perfect for soothing those tired trekking muscles. Overnight stay in Jhinu Danda.
On your final trekking day, follow the trail along the Modi Khola River until you reach Nayapul. From here, drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax at your hotel and celebrate completing your trek. Spend the evening exploring Pokhara’s lakeside cafes and shops. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, passing through beautiful countryside and river valleys. Once you reach Kathmandu, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—whether shopping in Thamel, visiting local temples, or simply resting. In the evening, join the group for a farewell Nepali dinner with cultural performances. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time in the morning for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Our team will then transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, bidding you farewell as you head home with incredible memories of your Annapurna adventure.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.
