Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi – Bhimtal
  • Pick up from Delhi airport or railway station.
  • Drive towards Bhimtal (7 hours).
  • Check in at the hotel.
  • Evening briefing about the onward yatra.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • 07:00 AM departure from Bhimtal to Dharchula, with visits to Kainchi Dham, Chetai Golu Devta Temple, and Jageshwar Dham.
  • Warm welcome at the hotel in Dharchula and overnight stay.
  • Kainchi Dham: A Hanuman temple and ashram established by the great saint Sri Neem Karoli Baba Ji in the 1960s.
  • Golu Devta Temple: This temple was constructed in the 12th century by a general of the Chand Dynasty. Golu Devta is famously regarded as the God of Justice.
  • Jageshwar Dham: Jageshwar is a cluster of more than 100 stone temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, which has inspired its popular name, "Valley of Gods."
  • Pithoragarh: Known as "Shor Valley," Pithoragarh is the third largest city in the Kumaon region. It is a dream destination for those looking for a trip away from the crowd and serves as the gateway to many trekking routes and the Adi Kailash Om Parvat Yatra.
  • This morning, after having breakfast, we will visit Nabi/Gunji, a beautiful village no less mysterious than "Pandora" from Avatar.
  • The route is nothing less than a fairytale adventure, full of surprising views of cliff-hanging mountains, gushing rivers, and the snow-clad towers of the Himalayas, which surely give you a bright idea of entering Shiva's territory.
  • En route, we will also visit beautiful villages like Malpa (desolated), Budhi, Chialekh, Garbyang, Gunji, and Napalchu on the way to Nabi.
  • This village is the base camp of Adi Kailash, where you can experience the true essence of Himalayan culture.
  • Overnight stay at a homestay in Nabi/Gunji Village, and get ready for finger-licking food.
  • Malpa: One of the biggest tragedies of the Himalayas occurred in Malpa in 1999. Do not forget to ask the guide or driver about this unforgettable saga of pain.
  • Budhi: The place where altitude reveals itself, providing you with the rush of adventure and the divinity of a pilgrimage.
  • Chialekh: The paradise of Chialekh will give you the chance to explore, as the inner line permit needs to be checked here by the Army.
  • Garbyang: Do not forget to buy sea buckthorn vinegar from this village.
  • Gunji: Move your eyes a little to see the snaking diversion towards Om Parvat and the old Kailash Mansarovar route.
  • Early morning visit to Om Parvat.
  • Approximately 2 hours by vehicle to reach Om Parvat, where you can witness a "Miracle of Nature"!
  • Snow lies on the mountain in the shape of "Om".
  • After the darshan of Om Parvat, take some time to relax and meditate, feeling the true blessings of Shiva.
  • Later, visit Kalapani (subject to permission) before returning to our Finding Shiva community.
  • In the evening, enjoy a Finding Shiva walk to Manakamana Temple and a cultural program (depending on the availability of artists).
  • Overnight stay at Nabi/Gunji Village.
  • OM PARVAT: Eight "OM" symbols are mentioned in the Skanda Purana, of which only one is available for darshan.
  • Mother Nature has justified itself by creating the divine symbol of "OM" visible to us, ego-driven beings, on a massive mountain.
  • I promise you will be spellbound at the very first gaze of this miracle.
  • Just sit down and listen to the intense vibration of the sound "OM".
  • Mahakali Temple (Kalapani): The dark feminine energy of "Kali" can be felt here.
  • The temple complex is so beautiful that it will be hard for you to leave the place.
  • Don't forget to have darshan of the source of the Kali River and Vyas Gufa.
  • Today, we will leave early in the morning to visit the oldest abode of Lord Shiva - Adi Kailash.
  • The road to the Almighty's home is never an easy ride; it challenges pilgrims on every possible level until we shed every fragment of ego to the deep valleys and flowing rivers.
  • Above all, you will experience the divine dance of Vyas Valley with every 100 meters we gain.
  • Moreover, it is a kind of beauty that cannot be explained by even the greatest poets.
  • Do not forget to keep your eyes on the Pandav Fort at Kuti Village.
  • Upon reaching Jollinkong, we will visit Parvati Sarovar, which involves a 2 km trek (depending on your fitness level), or a pony can be hired.
  • Explore your inner consciousness and the energy of Lord Shiva; close your eyes and feel the vibrations by bowing down to the Adi Kailash Mountain, which towers at 6,310 meters above sea level.
  • The journey can be extended to Gauri Kund, located at the base of Mount Adi Kailash, but only if health permits, as it is situated near 5,000 meters and may lead to Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
  • After lunch, we will seek permission from Lord Shiva to depart.
  • The evening will be spent with the Rung community, which helps in understanding the lifestyle of Himalayan villages.
  • Overnight stay at Nabi Village.
  • After breakfast, we will return to Dharchula.
  • Evening free for visiting Nepal and shopping.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Dharchula.
  • This is the last of the tour and you will dropped from Dharchula to Delhi.
