Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kochi - Local Sightseeing

Arrive in Kochi where you will be picked up from the airport or railway/bus station.
Transfer to the hotel and check in.
During the day, proceed for the Kochi city tour.
Visit the Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue, the Fort Kochi area, which houses St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
Spend the rest of your evening exploring local cuisines in the area.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.

Day 2 Proceed to Munnar - Visit Tea Plantation

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Proceed to Munnar.
En route, enjoy the view of the Cheeyappara waterfalls.
On arrival at Munnar, check in to the hotel.
Visit the tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam.
Later visit the local market and shop for aromatic tea.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 3 Transsfer to Thekkady - Boat Cruise at Periyar Lake

After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Drive to Thekkady.
En route, visit Chillies Spice Garden.
On arrival in Thekkady, check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake (on a direct payment basis).
Later, you can do a spice plantation tour to spend the rest of your afternoon (personal expense).
In the evening, you may visit the theatre to experience the traditional Kalari Show (on a direct payment basis).
You can also choose to shop in the local market or go for an Elephant Ride (on a direct payment basis).
Return to the hotel and enjoy time at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

Day 4 Transfer to Alleppey - Visit the Backwaters and Alappuzha Beach

After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Proceed to Alleppey, known as the ‘Venice of the East'.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Visit the Mullakkal Raja Rajeswari Temple and opt for a short boat cruise through the backwaters (on a direct payment basis).
In the evening visit the Alappuzha beach and enjoy the sunset.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Transfer to Kochi - Watch a Kathakali Performance

Check out from the hotel and drive to Kochi.
On arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in.
In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance.
Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 6 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel by noon.
Have an early lunch.
You will be dropped off at the Kochi airport or railway/bus station for your journey back home.

Showed us good places to eat and shop. Knowledgeable. Would give Joe 10 stars. Highlights: Munnar liked everything, game drive with Sunil @Sunil travels Tea plantation. Camel ride. Blackberry Hills hotel. Thekkady: elephant jungle. Poetrree Saravor hotel. Elephant ride Kumarakom: Backwater ripple hotel. Alleppey: spice route luxury houseboat. Loved the crab roast chef John prepared. Cruising the backwaters was very tranquil. Walked alongside the rice paddies. Kovalum: boat cruise in backwaters. Trivandrum: Gokulam grand hotel. The good thing was I did not need to think about any booking. All were done befo (Read More)re so I only enjoyed the trip. Moreover, if anyone is coming with family like children or old parents this approach is good. Travel on ease staffs were prompt to reply in WhatsApp whenever I asked any query or anything. Moreover, the payment also was in installment which is good as you will have trust and slowly you can pay throughout the journey. Travel on ease staffs are kind enough to call everyday to ask if everything is going well or not.

One thing which has room for improvement is that I am not 100% happy with the dr (Read More)iver. I had to tell him to cover all the sight seeings otherwise he was ready to skip some of the places. But it is his job to cover all the places written in itenary. Moreover, he did not come to drop in railway station and told me to take an auto which I did.
