Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi
- On arrival at Hanoi Airport, transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Spend the rest of the day.
- Dinner at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi Excursion
- After breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Hanoi.
- Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, President Palance, and Temple of Literature.
- Also, visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda.
- After lunch at a local or Indian restaurant(on your own), drive to Hoa Lo Prison Museum.
- Later, attend the water puppet show - a unique Vietnam traditional art.
- Return to the hotel.
- Have dinner.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 3 Excursion to Ninh Binh
- After breakfast, you will meet the private driver (no guide) and proceed to Ninh Binh.
- Visit 02 temples of the first 02 kings of Vietnam and Tam Coc Caves.
- Afterward, take the rowing boat along the river and enjoy the 3 limestone caves.
- After the rowing boat and the discovery of the caves, proceed to the local restaurant for lunch(at your own cost).
- Return to Hanoi.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Ninh Binh.
Day 4 Transfer to Halong Bay
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Halong bay.
- On arrival at Halong Bay, board the cruise.
- Cruise through thousands of islands and islets in Halong bay.
- Also, visit famous attractions in Halong bay.
- Overnight stay on the boat in Halong bay.
Day 5 Halong Bay to Da nang - Leisure Day
- After breakfast, explore other parts of Halong Bay, such as Surprise Cave.
- Later, return to the Tourist Wharf through Halong Bay.
- In the afternoon, transfer to Hanoi for a flight to Da Nang.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Da Nang.
Day 6 Transfer to Hoi An
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Hoi An
- proceed to a walking tour of Hoi An.
- Visit the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house.
- Afterward, take a short biking tour to the villages surrounding Hoi An (transfers by bicycle or private vehicle are also options).
- Spend the afternoon exploring Hoi An on your own.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in Hoi An.
Day 7 Transfer to Ho Chi Minh
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Ho Chi Minh City.
- On arrival in Ho Chi Minh, proceed on a city tour.
- Visit the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum, and Dong Khoi Street.
- Afterward, check in to the hotel.
- Later, visit the ethnic Chinese district of Cho Lon, Binh Tay Market, and Thien Hau Pagoda.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 8 Cu Chi Tunnel - Day at leisure
- After breakfast, proceed to Cu Chi.
- Visit Cu Chi Tunnel.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 9 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
- Accommodation at the hotels with daily breakfast and dinner as per the itinerary.
