Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed before being transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is renowned for its population of warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, reedbucks, and occasionally leopards. Both white and black rhinos have been introduced here, and you might spot white rhinos at the southern end. Bird lovers will be delighted, as the park boasts over 400 bird species. You will arrive in time for a delicious hot lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. In the evening, enjoy a game drive through Nakuru National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp, with full board accommodation included.
After a hearty breakfast, depart for the world-famous Masai Mara via Lake Naivasha. Game viewing is best in the early mornings or evenings when wildlife activity is at its peak. On clear days, the Mara offers stunning orange-hued sunsets, perfect for unforgettable photos while relaxing with sundowners at your lodge. The Masai Mara Reserve spans 1,510 sq km of open plains and fertile woodlands along the Mara and Talek Rivers. Expect to encounter Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, jackals, hyenas, impalas, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. If visiting between July and August, you’ll witness the spectacular wildebeest migration, when millions move north from the Serengeti in search of fresh grass before returning south in October.
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve. While cheetahs and leopards are more elusive, they are often spotted by keen-eyed travelers. The highlight here remains the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration in July and August. Enjoy the day immersed in this incredible wildlife spectacle. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp, with full board accommodation included.
After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park, a journey that takes approximately 8 hours over rugged roads. Serengeti, Tanzania's most iconic national park, spans 14,763 sq km and borders Kenya's Masai Mara. Its endless grassy plains dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes create a classic African landscape. The Serengeti supports a staggering variety of wildlife, and you'll enjoy an en route game drive upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp, with full board accommodation included.
Start the day with an exploratory game drive through Tanzania's oldest and most famous national park. The Serengeti offers unrivaled game viewing, from grazing herds of herbivores to packs of cunning carnivores. Watch for impalas, one of Africa's most elegant animals, as well as predators like leopards, cheetahs, lions, and wild dogs that hunt them. Spend the day immersed in the rhythms of this extraordinary ecosystem.
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes and travel via the historic Olduvai Gorge, believed to be the cradle of mankind. Continue to Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa's Eden and the "8th Natural Wonder of the World." Inside the crater, large herds of zebras and wildebeests graze near sleeping lions. At dawn, endangered black rhinos retreat to the forest after grazing on the dew-covered grass. Outside the crater, you’ll see Maasai herders moving their livestock across the lush highlands. Descend to the crater floor for game viewing before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli via the Namanga border. Amboseli is renowned for its iconic elephants, lions, cheetahs, and its stunning scenic beauty. The park encompasses five wildlife habitats, including open plains, acacia woodlands, thorn-bush terrain, swamps, marshes, and the dry lakebed of Lake Amboseli. Towering over the reserve is the Ol Doinyo Orok massif, rising to 2,760 meters and still largely unexplored.
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, soaking in the beauty of the landscape and its wildlife. After your game drive, transfer back to Nairobi, arriving by 5:00 PM, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
