Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Colombo to Sigiriya - Dambulla cave temple

On arrival at Colombo Airport, transfer to Sigiriya.
En route, visit Dambulla cave temple and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (optional).
On arrival at Sigiriya, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 2 Sigiriya Sightseeing - Sigiriya Rock fortress

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Sigiriya.
Visit the Sigiriya Rock fortress.
Return to the hotel.
In the evening, jeep safari to Minneriya National Park.
Spend quality family time at the hotel or enjoy local cultural performances.
Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 3 Sigiriya to Kandy - Leisure Day

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy.
En route, visit a Batik factory and a spice garden.
On arrival at Kandy, check in to the hotel.
In the evening, proceed for sightseeing in Kandy.
Spend the rest of your leisure with your family
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 4 Kandy Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, proceed shopping and sightseeing in Kandy.
You can visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, the Art & Craft Center, the Gem & Jewelry Gallery, and the Silk & Batik Centre.
In the evening, enjoy the cultural dancing show.
Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 5 Kandy to Nuwara Eliya - Day at Leisure

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
Afterward, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
En route, visit a Tea Plantation Factory.
On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check in to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing

On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check in to the hotel.
Visit Victoria Garden, Golfing, Race Couse, and Gregory's Lake.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya to Colombo - City Tour of Colombo

After breakfast, proceed to Colombo via Kithulgala.
En route, get a glimpse of St. Clair's and Devon Falls.
At Kithulgala,visit the shooting location of the film ‘The Bridge on River Kwai.'
On arrival at Colombo, check in to the hotel.
In the evening, do a short city shopping tour of Colombo.
Overnight stay at Colombo.

Day 8 Departure

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure.
Later check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the flight back home.

What's Good: The Guide cum driver Premarathna was very warm and friendly. Well maintained car. We didnt have to hurry through anywhere and remained relaxed throughout. Since we had insisted up (Read More)on vegetarian food, the hotels did manage their best to provide us something palatable to us throughout. The morning breakfast tea at Bentota was the best ever we had in Sri Lanka
What's Not Good: The Accommodation at Kandy was a huge letdown. A 20 year old building which was under renovation and the room had lizards moving around ! The courteouness of the staff was the saving grace there. The Bentota resort though good had a lizard too in the room when we entered. fortunately the housekeeping staff removed it.

What's Good: We are glad we chose Aziz Travels. This being our 1st international trip with kids we had our doubts and fear. But Shali made sure he clarified all our doubts even before we left f (Read More)rom India. In fact we paid our money to Aziz Travels only after landing in Sri Lanka. We were greeted warmly by his manager Mohamed at the airport followed by his driver Prem anna. He was the best. 5 days with his driving made us feel safe..being in a new country and high altitude roads with on n off rains..his car was jus gliding thru..and we felt safe. He made sure we covered all places in the itemary..in fact showed some places out of itenary too. Overall very happy with Aziz travels. Shali, I think you should start penetrating into other countries too.

What's Good: Aziz Travel should visit/verify accommodation that they recommend, some of them are not good , the rooms are bad . The facilities are not satisfactory
What's Not Good: H (Read More)otel in kandy,yala were not good . The trip could be more unidirectional and going criss cross could be avoided , it will bring down cost too
