Day 1 Nairobi – Lake Naivasha National Park
You'll be picked up from the Nairobi city center and depart for Lake Naivasha National Park. On the way, you'll stop at the Rift Valley escarpment viewpoint, which offers stunning views. Lake Naivasha, the highest and most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes, is a popular area for bird watching, with over 400 species. Since the water is too cold for crocodiles, you will spot numerous hippos. An optional boat ride can be organized at an additional cost.
You will also visit Crescent Island, a sanctuary for herbivores like giraffes, zebras, impalas, and hippos. Crescent Island is perfect for nature photography, with its scenic views of animals, birds, and the sunset reflecting on the lake. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to spot the park's diverse wildlife.

Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives.
