Day 1 Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City(D)
  • Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Be welcomed by a representative for pick-up and transfer to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, transfer to explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence.
  • Following lunch, visit the former Presidential Palace. Then, enjoy your free time shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Dinner will be on your own.
  • Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • In the morning, take a 2-hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta, known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Enjoy a boat cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet.
  • Take a relaxing walk along shady, palm-fringed trails, passing local villages to observe their peaceful daily life. Visit a bee farm, sip special tea with honey, sample fruits with a local family, and hear their stories.
  • Explore a small coconut workshop, experience a horse-drawn cart transfer, visit handicraft villages and a coconut candy factory, and enjoy tropical fruit and traditional music.
  • Relax with a rowing boat ride through the narrow, palm tree-lined canals of the Mekong River before returning to My Tho by motorized boat.
  • Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh.
  • Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • The rest of the day is free for leisure. Meals are on your own. (Flight not included)

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

Their service was incredibly timely and professional, making th (Read More)e entire journey smooth and stress-free. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
