Day 1 Gorakhpur to Lumbini to Chitwan (Sauraha)
Gorakhpur to Lumbini: ~100 km (2.5-3 hrs, including border crossing)
Lumbini to Chitwan (Sauraha): ~160 km (4-5 hrs)
Activities:
  • Start early from Gorakhpur.
  • Visit the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha at Lumbini.
  • Continue to Chitwan for an overnight stay in Sauraha.
Overnight: Chitwan (Sauraha)
Route: Chitwan âž” Janakpur
Distance: ~280 km (7-8 hrs)
Activities:
  • After breakfast, enjoy optional jungle safari activities (e.g., jeep safari, canoeing, or bird watching).
